We Will Always Be Grateful to Lifetime Adoption!
Dear Lifetime,
While I may not have been the best in forwarding pictures and sending our sentiments, know that you and Lifetime have been in our thoughts quite often. Motherhood keeps me hopping, and I LOVE it!!
It is so hard to believe that Connor will be ten months soon. He is growing and changing so very quickly and is our bundle of love, pride, and joy! Connor is definitely our miracle from above. From the very moment he was born and placed in our arms, we were reminded as to why we never got pregnant. I would travel the winding and rolling roads over and over again for him! As someone who is never short on words, I don’t think I could ever find the right word to describe our love for Connor.
We are so grateful for Lifetime Adoption. You made our journey more bearable. You lifted my spirits more than you probably know and it helped knowing you truly could relate. While we wish we would’ve started our adoption journey with Lifetime sooner than we had, especially since we were matched 3 months after our packages were complete, we wouldn’t have done it any differently since our precious Connor had been our miracle in waiting all along.
We also wanted to fill you in on the latest Connor happenings…Connor is such a HAPPY baby…and his happiness is ever contagious to those around who see his “Connor Smiles” and hear his precious giggles! Six months marked crawling, or should I say speed crawling! Eight months won over Momma’s heart (again), when his very first word was Momma! For a few weeks now he can walk 5-6 feet and has been quite the climber. Meal time is an adventure for all who are around. Mommy and Daddy usually end up wearing Connor meals too! Bath-time is a big deal, as this is Daddy and Connor time and comes just before Daddy gives him his bottle and puts him to bed.
Connor has always loved music. He’s never gone to bed with out his singing lullaby CD playing and are we are often to blame on the dock for our friends feeling relaxed and drowsy as they can hear Connor’s soft lullabies playing. Morning time is usually our time to sing, dance and play silly together in his nursery! Connor has to think sometimes, “The things I get them to do!”
One more thing I wanted to let you know.. We do communicate via phone, e-mail, and pictures with Connor’s birth mother and Birth Grandmother from time to time. There will always be a special place in our hearts for Connor’s birth mother. It is a rewarding feeling as parents to hear Connor’s birth mother tell us that she never worries about Connor or second guesses her decision and knows it was truly meant to be. We truly feel blessed!
Much love always, Sarah, Chad, and Connor
