then and now craig and ruth.jpg Lifetime Adoption is thrilled to present another Lifetime adoptive family’s story today in our blog series “Then and Now.” Today’s adoptive parents are Craig and Ruth from West Virginia.

As they began their journey with Lifetime, they shared that always agreed that children would be the center of their lives. After struggles with infertility, they felt as if God was showing and preparing them for adoption all along! “We are excited to welcome our first little one into our family with loving, open arms!” Craig and Ruth exclaimed as they began the path to the adoption of their baby.

We both enjoy the outdoors and traveling. We do activities as a couple and with extended family. Whether it’s enjoying the majestic view of the mountains or riding the waves at the beach, we are constantly having fun. We can’t wait to expose our little one to lots of different cultures and areas!

Our home was built in 2006 and is nestled on 8 acres of rolling hills. We have four bedrooms and a large family room. There is plenty of space for children to run, play and build forts in the woods. The big maple tree in our front yard provides lots of shade for a swing set.”

Craig and Ruth wrote to us, “We can’t tell you what a blessing Jackson has been in our lives. He is our son, sent to us through our wonderful birthmother and our Heavenly Father. We are blessed to have such a fabulous birth family. They have such a great love for Jackson.

Thank you for making our dreams come true of being a mom and dad. We will forever be grateful for the role that you played in creating our family. We love you guys!
