then and now eric and amanda.jpgToday, Lifetime Adoption is excited to be able to share another successful couple’s adoption story in our blog series “Then and Now.” Our Lifetime adoptive family today is Eric and Amanda from Florida.

Our adoption staff at our Florida office were blessed with a visit from adoptive mother Amanda with their newly adopted daughter just after their adoption took place!

As they started their adoption journey with Lifetime, they shared, “We have decided to explore our options through adoption. Our hearts are so full of love to give to a child, and we have shared that love with many children over the last two years through fostering.  We are eager to grow our family!”

eric and amanda profile.jpgIn their adoption profile, Eric and Amanda wrote, “We promise to love your child unconditionally and will nurture him or her to grow up to be the best person they can be. We promise to provide a Catholic upbringing and teach them important values such as respect, love, generosity, and perseverance.

We would love for you to be part of your child’s life with photos, videos, and discussing visits. We want your child/children to have an understanding and appreciation for your unconditional love. Your child will always know where he or she came from and how much you love them.

Our love for each other is very strong, and we are not only husband and wife, but best friends. We are an active couple who loves to spend time together traveling, scuba diving, and trail riding. We have a passion for helping others in need, and we love to participate and organize various charity events as well as foster children. We are blessed to come from loving families and are surrounded by friends who love, share, guide, and support us each step of the way through life’s journey.”

Eric and Amanda's adorable baby girl!Through Lifetime, Eric and Amanda were blessed to adopt a baby girl, Mariella, just a few weeks ago!

They were able to travel to Lifetime’s Florida office to meet the ladies who helped make their adoption possible.

Linda Rotz, our Director of Adoption Services in Florida, says,

“Amanda shared her drop-in-the-lap story of being called with information that their baby was born and to get to the hospital.

Linda is pictured to the right, admiring baby Mariella.

During her visit to our Florida office, Amanda also visited with their Adoption Support Coordinator Tiffany Bayless.

tiffany-mariella.jpg“Tiffany was amazing, how she handled the drop-in-the lap situation, giving us all the details and being there with us,” adoptive parents Eric and Amanda say about Tiffany (pictured to the left, holding adorable Mariella.)

We’re so happy for this family! Eric and Amanda have been such a blessing for baby Mariella and her birth parents. They say “We can’t thank you all enough for helping us find the perfect birth family to add to our family. We have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl named Mariella Colleen!”
