Adoption Stories Then and Now – Greg and Lizzy

then-now-greg-lizzy.jpgWe’re blessed to be sharing another adoptive couple’s heartwarming adoption journey in our blog series “Then and Now.” Our Lifetime adoptive family today is Greg and Lizzy from Florida.

As they started their adoption journey with Lifetime, they shared, “We would love to build our family. We have always had a heart to adopt a child

After our daughter’s birth, Lizzy had to have a lifesaving operation which resulted in us not being able to have more children and we have such a strong desire to have more kids! Being parents has been the greatest gift.  We would love to give another baby a safe and loving home and also love a birth mom too!

Greg and Lizzy's adoption profileIn their adoption profile, Greg and Lizzy wrote, “Hello from sunny Florida! We are a loving, adventurous, fun, and close family who really loves our family, friends, and Jesus. We are best friends who fell in love and have been married for 6 happy years. We love being parents to our 3 year old daughter and are really excited to grow our family through adoption!

We love family trips to the zoo, play times on the swings at the park, going to church, cooking delicious meals, decorating the tree at Christmas, and traveling to different places around the world!

We live in a large, beautiful 3 bedroom condo with ocean views. Our apartment complex has a pool, gym and a tennis
court and is a 2 minute walk from the ocean. We love to go on walks along the beach at sunset! There are great parks on our street and fun things to do nearby like trampoline parks and indoor soft play places.”

Baby JoshuaThrough Lifetime, Greg and Lizzy joyfully welcomed a baby boy, Joshua, into their home last month!

This adorable baby boy, Joshua, is surrounded by his happy adoptive parents Gregory and Elizabeth, and Joshua’s new adoring big sister.

The family has developed a wonderful bond with Joshua’s birth family, and Lizzy mentions that she feels like they are her own family members!
