This Easter we celebrate with gratitude the hope and renewal given by God through the Risen Christ. We are commanded to live a reflection of Jesus’ life, to lift others up in love, be prayerful in gratitude, practice authentic faith, and discern God’s will as our own. Living as Christians requires little more than believing that God sent His only Son to be sacrificed on our behalf and raised from the dead to free us of our bond in sin and to give us eternal life with Him.
Through Jesus Christ, God’s promises have been proven to all who believe.
Whether you’re walking through a time of trial or celebration, God’s promises apply to you. Christ came for you, died for you, and was born again–for you. Even if you were the only one, God would have sent His Son for you. He adores you and wants good things for you, in heaven and on earth. When you practice faith you affirm God’s promises through His Son’s journey through the cross; you validate Christ’s life was meant so that you would walk with Him in love, hope, and joy.
May the love, hope, and joy of the Easter promise be yours this weekend, and always.
