smiling woman with shopping bagsI love shopping at Target! They have great products, fair pricing and convenient locations throughout the country. Target is never stagnant. They are always looking for ways to secure the loyalty of shoppers everywhere. Their latest “carrot” is Target’s new low price promise program.

According to their website information, if you are buying a qualifying item at Target then find it for less elsewhere, they will match the lower price. You must bring in the competitor’s printed ad as proof. If you buy an item, then see it advertised on sale in a Target ad the next week, you will receive the current lowest price.

There are some details outlining their new guest policy. The item purchased must be the same brand name, size, weight, shape, color, and quantity and model number. The price must be valid at the time the price match is requested and confirmed through a print or on-line ad. Rain checks will not be issued for out of stock items through the low price policy.

Target promises to compare prices on over 25,000 items, in their stores each week. They also accept one manufacturer and one in-store coupon per item. Now that many Targets have grocery sections, this can work towards greater weekly savings on things you buy regularly, such as milk and eggs. Check out Target.com to find their daily deals. You can print out coupons right from the site.
