The caring staff of Adoption Coordinators at Lifetime Adoption regularly receive emails from past Lifetime clients on how life is going after adoption. They email us updates, photos, and words of gratitude for the work we did to help them. So, we were thrilled to get this email from adoptive parents Casey and April:
“Hi Patty and Lifetime Staff, It’s been a little while since we’ve been able to send an update, but please know we think of all of you often and continue to pray for all that you’re doing in the lives of birth parents and adoptive parents. We can hardly believe how fast the time has gone. We just celebrated Carly’s second birthday a few weeks ago. We celebrated with a trip to the zoo and of course, Carly’s favorite, cake. She is growing so fast and is now running and climbing on everything. Her favorite things to do are to play with her brothers, go down the slide, hug her baby dolls, and keep mommy and daddy chasing after her. We are always so grateful for all that you have done for our family. Our adoption story is beautiful and our love for our daughter is immeasurable. She completes are family and our hearts are so full. We often are told how perfectly her personality fits in with her brothers. She brings joy to everyone she meets. Thank you to each and everyone of you! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!
Blessings, Casey & April
P.S. The pictures are from her two year photo shoot/family photo shoot. The Christmas one of her with her baby doll was captured to show how far she’s come. The baby doll in the picture was the same size as her at birth, and the nightgown she is wearing, was the nightgown Carly wore on Christmas day in the NICU.”
