silas-dawn-babyMany adoptive parents wonder if they’re on the right path with seeking an adoption. Lifetime adoptive couple Silas and Dawn shared in a recent webinar that they also felt this way. Even as they traveled to adopt their newly-born son, they still had to pinch themselves that it was really happening.

Now, they share that every detail of their son’s adoption story shows them it was meant to be! If you’re in the adoption wait, hearing their story can serve as a helpful reminder that you too will adopt!

Catch a short video of Silas and Dawn talking about how their son’s adoption is meant-to-be!

Every adoption is meant to be, Silas & Dawn's story from Lifetime Adoption on Vimeo.

silas-dawn-collage-1Adoptive mother Dawn says, “We had no question, we knew that our family and our friends, they were going to love him no matter what ‘cause they’re just hearts of gold.

To just see how he interacts, and to see what he looks like and to see his little personality developing, and just how well he fits in with everybody, that’s the part that just blows our minds.

This is just, crazy and we love every second of it!”

While they prayerfully wait for a match, hopeful adoptive parents typically go through times of discouragement and wonder if their adoption is on the right track. But after they adopt, many adoptive parents tell Lifetime how everything seemed meant to be; their baby, the timing, the details that brought their adoption together…all of it meant to be!

You can hear Silas and Dawn’s full story of how they became a family of five through adoption in a recent adoption webinar! They also shared adoption travel tips, inspiring perspective for your wait, how to use social media for your adoption, and their experience with Lifetime.
