Question: Can I select a family from a state other than my own?
Answer: Yes. This is both legal and workable, and the Internet allows us access to a large variety of qualified waiting adoptive families that will meet your specifications nationwide.
You can select any adoptive parents from any state, and adoptive parents can adopt from a child from any state as well. For example, if you live in California and find an adoptive family profile of a family in Texas, you can request them as adoptive parents for your child. Any state and any family can be matched together. It’s that easy with Lifetime Adoption. If you have any questions or have a special request for a specific type of adoptive family please feel free to call us toll free at 1-800-923-6784 and we would be happy to help you with your request.
If you prefer to choose a family in your state, we have families in most states across the country, and we can locate and screen available families in your region. Visit Lifetime’s page of waiting adoptive families to choose by region.
