If you’re making an adoption plan for your baby or child through Lifetime Adoption, we want to be able to assist you with items you may need! At Lifetime, we care about our birth mothers and their families. We’ve been helping women and their adoption plans since 1986.
Our services to you include the ability to receive no-cost counseling from an outside licensed counselor, and peer support from other women who have made an adoption plan. Peer counselors and licensed counselors allow neutral support as you consider if adoption is right for you.
Another way we are able to help women who are considering adoption is by offering clothing, household items, and more through a special program we call “Birthmother Blessings.” Visit BirthmotherBlessing.com to find out how we can help you with your needs.
To request items from Lifetime, simply fill out the form BirthmotherBlessing.com. It may take three to six weeks for your items to arrive, due to processing and shipping. If you have an urgent need, please contact your Adoption Coordinator personally at 1-800-923-6784.
As Vice President of Lifetime Adoption, Heather Featherston holds an MBA and is passionate about working with those facing adoption, pregnancy, and parenting issues. Heather has conducted training for birth parent advocates, spoken to professional groups, and has appeared on television and radio to discuss the multiple aspects of adoption. She has provided one-on-one support to women and hopeful adoptive parents working through adoption decisions.
Since 2002, she has been helping pregnant women and others in crisis to learn more about adoption. Heather also trains and speaks nationwide to pregnancy clinics to effectively meet the needs of women who want to explore adoption for their child. Today, she continues to address the concerns women have about adoption and supports the needs of women who choose adoption for their child.
As a published author of the book Called to Adoption, Featherston loves to see God’s hand at work every day as she helps children and families come together through adoption.
