Women Share: My Open Adoption Experience

Woman with an unplanned pregnancy looking for options and support found them at Lifetime AdoptionIf you’re considering adoption for your baby or child, you might be wondering, “what would it be like to give my baby up for adoption?”

Hear from Lifetime birth mothers, as they share stories of making an adoption plan for their baby, and what life’s like now:

“Hi Diane!
It makes me so extremely happy seeing the adoptive mom I chose with my son. She’s a great mother and I’d never ever change it for the world. He’s flourishing. He’s very smart, so many things. I love seeing my son. If it could have been different…I try to think about the ways I could have made it work but I still know in my heart I did the right and best thing for him. He’s got the world in his hands. And I’d never be able to give him that. If not for Lifetime, his adoptive mom, and all the support I think I’d have been a bigger mess.

Thank you for everything! I couldn’t have done this without you Diane, and without Lifetime. And am so so happy everything worked out.”

“I just wanted to thank you guys so much for all of the encouraging words and messages. They really meant a lot to me. This is definitely not only the hardest, but most emotional thing that I have ever done in my life. I miss that boy so much and it’s so difficult to know that I won’t see him grow up and enjoy life. Well, I will but it’ll be from a distance. He’s going to be surrounded by so much love and affection by his adoptive parents and for that, I’m incredibly blessed to have that peace that he’ll be taken care of. You guys have been nothing short of amazing. Thanks for absolutely everything!”

“Making an adoption plan for my son is easily the best decision I have ever made. I sacrificed so much for this little guy, like my senior year, my body, my relationship, my family, the list could go on.

Never in my life, though, will I regret choosing to endure the nine months to give my baby boy to a loving couple who cannot have children of their own. Through the adoption process, I have been so incredibly blessed and I feel overjoyed knowing I gave life to a family who could not make it themselves. We all have something to be thankful for…for me, it’s a new family.”

“Dear Veronica,
You’re a wonderful and compassionate woman and I am so glad our paths crossed…I will be forever grateful for all of your help and assistance with all you have done for me. I recommend Lifetime to any pregnant mother considering adoption. I have a friend who is pregnant who is due next month that is using your services today. Thanks again!
