I noticed some of the adoptive couples only want a girl or a boy. Why?

Just how birth mothers get to choose the adoptive family, our families get to choose if they are open to adopting either gender, only a boy, or only a girl. Our adoptive families have preferences on what they are looking for in an adoption, just as you do. Lifetime Adoption uses these preferences so that we can give you all the adoptive family profiles that best match with you, your baby, and what you are looking for in your baby’s parents.

Once you take the necessary steps to make an adoption plan, your Adoption Coordinator will reach out to your first-choice adoptive family. She will then let them know that you are interested in talking to them and getting to know them better.
