Can my family see the baby and receive updates too?

A Mexican American woman in a hospital bed sharing her newborn baby with her mom
Absolutely! Lifetime encourages our adoptive families to be open to meeting your other family members. Family are welcome to come to the hospital if you’re comfortable with that and if the hospital allows it.

Talk with your family and discuss what open adoption looks like for you. Make sure to let them know if you want them to be part of your open adoption. Together you can discuss the best possible way to include your family into the open adoption. If you need tips on how to begin this conversation, make sure to let your Adoption Coordinator at Lifetime know!
