Hey there! We are incredibly excited that you are taking the time to get to know us and we’re pumped about the possibility of getting to know you too. Growing our family through adoption has always been something we imagined for ourselves, when we experienced infertility it was the sign we needed for us to know that our plan and God’s plan were one in the same. We are ready to be parents, and we are waiting with open hearts to make that special connection that will help make our dreams a reality!
One moment turned into forever...
Our story began at a concert almost 5 years ago at a concert when Craig tried to show off some entertaining dance moves. Since then, we’ve built our relationship around trust, honesty and fun. We don’t sweat the small stuff, and we come together for the challenges life may put in our path.
You can usually find us in our backyard, listening to music and taking in some fresh air. Traveling, sports, the outdoors, and concerts are our favorite ways to spend time outside of our home, and we take any opportunity we have to visit our families. We live in the moment and are as joyful and thankful for each day we are blessed with whether it’s spent kayaking down river or hosting a big family barbeque.
Courtney is nurturing and outgoing. Her laughter is contagious, and when she starts laughing there is no stopping her, she will probably end up in tears and so will those around her. She loves to cook, and everyone loves when she does! She is a great friend and has never met a stranger.
Courtney is a supervisor of a Pediatric Ophthalmology Clinic. She adores working with kiddos some of which are just days old. Her favorite part of her job is seeing children light up when they see clearly, sometimes for the first time in their lives. Courtney’s career provides stability and educational opportunities for her family.
Craig is a goofball with a big heart. What he enjoys most is being outdoors, in the gym, and helping family on the farm. Baseball is his passion, he loves the St. Louis Cardinals and volunteering with his local youth leagues. Craig has a sweet soul and goes above and beyond to let people know they have someone in their corner who cares about them.
Craig works as an Industrial Electrician, he loves that his job is ever changing and that it is a career that will always be needed. He has a great schedule that allows him work just 3-4 days a week while still providing his family with financial stability.
So many people, so much love
We both come from HUGE families and we wouldn’t want it any other way. Courtney has 9 siblings and Craig has 4. Our families are beautifully blended, diverse, and familiar with adoption. Your child will be loved by so many cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and even great grandparents who are ready to welcome them with open arms.
A house that love makes a home
We live in a 3 bedroom home with a big fenced in yard. Our neighborhood is safe and there is a park, school, and library all just a walk or bike ride away. Our town is famous for our parades and festivals, and even some events throughout history! We have 2 small dogs named Zadie and Dexter, and a very big cat named Sir Whiskers. Our animals are used to children of all ages, and take every opportunity to play and cuddle.
Our promise today and always
Our promise to you is to always be open, honest, and transparent throughout this journey. We promise that your child will forever be loved the way you always dreamed they would be. They will know the value of hard work, education, faith and above all else they will know they were loved and chosen each and every day from the moment their heart started to beat and their very special story began.
We promise to remain open to whatever communication you would like as our relationship changes and evolves over time and no distance is to far for a visit. We promise to strive to be the parents you hoped to find when you started this journey and we promise that we will pour 100% of ourselves into being the best parents we can be in hopes that you can be at peace with your decision.

More About Our Family
Our Special Interests
We love visiting new places in Missouri and all around the world, we love to go on Cruises the oceans and to Kayak rivers. We love watching and playing sports, we watch the St. Louis Cardinal, St. Louis Blues and Kansas City Chiefs, Mizzou Tigers, and enjoy playing slow pitch, frisbee gold and basketball in our drive way. We enjoy music and concerts of all genres and watching our regular shows together while we speculate what is going to happen ( we are both usually wrong).
We attend church regularly and enjoy being active members. We love being involved in fundraisers, dinners, and groups within our church. We both grew up going to church with our families and we visit their churches still, we along with our families have a strong foundation of faith. We will teach our child to always put the lord first, pray for others, know that everyone is different and has their own beliefs, and to always be thankful for the blessings they receive throughout their life.
Hopes for our Child
We hope that we can raise our child to be fearless and strong. We want to teach them the importance of education, hard work, and the acceptance of others. We want to raise them in our faith but allow them to build their own as well. We want them to be open and feel they can come to us without judgement. We want them to know their story and be confident in it. We want them to know their heritage and identify with who they are and have access to their culture and be proud of who they are.
What would you like birth families to know
We want you to know that we will never stop trying to give you peace with your decision. As our lives change and our relationship evolves, we will always put you and your child first. Our priority will always be your child and what is best for them. We have been on great adventures, seen amazing things, but the only thing we ever truly wanted more than anything else is to be parents and not only that but to be the best parents we can possibly be.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for getting to know us more. We are overjoyed at the thought of becoming parent's and are excited to grow our family. Our hearts are open and we look forward to getting to know you more as our paths come together!
