Hello from the “Show Me State!” We are so excited to become first-time parents through adoption! We are a warm and bubbly Christian couple ready to love your child with everything we have. We are open to keeping in touch through letters, emails photographs and visits and we want you to know that we are open for that to change if or as needed. Thank you so much for getting to know us.
We met at church 6 years ago and have been married for 4 years now! JD works as an autobody Technician, and Hannah is a Bus Aide. We love to watch movies, have friends over for game nights and cook together. We love to try new things and take trips close enough to drive on the weekends. We are very involved at our church. Hannah teaches a preschool class and JD teaches older boys in a Christian Boy scouts. We love Disney movies and can’t wait to share our love for them with our child by throwing mini-movie parties with themed dinners and desserts. We both love to go off-roading in JDs FJ Cruiser and have picnics on Saturday mornings. Special moments are very important to us and, every year since we met, we drive to this small town about an hour away for Valentine’s Day and eat at an authentic German Wurst Haus and then go to a really cool chocolatier shop! It is a tradition of ours that we look forward to sharing with our child.
JD is caring supportive and a hard worker. He always puts everyone else first. He takes pride in his work and is truly talented at his job. JD fixes wrecked cars and specializes in hard hits. He loves to fix things around the house and to cook. He makes the best Ribs and cheesecake. He loves to laugh and is a goofy child at heart. I know he will be the best father to our child- laying on the floor playing and going to the zoo and museums cheering them on at a game or a dance recital. He has already started to pick out Lego sets and has been keeping current on the best kids shows from the kids at church. JD has never been to Disney and is excited to experience it for the first time with our child. He got a Star Wars Galaxy’s edge cookbook and is trying out different recipes to know what to order when we go.
Hannah is extremely sweet and giving. She doesn’t give up and gives everything 100 %. Hannah works with special needs kids for our local school district and teaches a preschool class for kids at our church. She is extremely patient and all of the kids truly love her. She makes everyone around her feel safe, loved, and heard. Hannah loves to read Christian romance novels; her favorite author is Rachel Hauck. She sends texts/cards with words of encouragement and is always thinking of others. Hannah is creative and loves to do DIY projects and crafts with the kids at church. She loves to throw dinner parties, game nights, and big celebrations for even the smallest thing. Hannah will be a wonderful mother and has already decorated our nursery and made most of the décor herself!
We have a very close-knit family and do everything together! Hannah is from Ohio and moved to Missouri when she was 6. Her mom and Dad live 7 minutes away, and we are very close to her parents and sister. JD’s parents live 19 minutes away, and we are just as close to them. We even have family nights where both sides of the family come over to eat, watch movies, and have game nights. Our child will be the first grandbaby on both sides, and everyone is excited! Our families have been so supportive of us adopting. We know they will make wonderful grandparents and an amazing aunt.
Our Home in Missouri
We own a spacious four-bedroom two-and-a-half-bath in the middle of a large cul-de-sac. We live in a very secure, kid-friendly neighborhood and have wonderful neighbors. The pediatrician’s office is 8 minutes from our house, and we are about 10 minutes from town. We have an aquatic center being built and several parks in our area. The school district Hannah works for has many elementary schools and several high schools and middle schools. We’re in one of the fastest-growing districts in our state! Our driveway is the hot spot of our street and all the neighbor kids ride their bikes on it in the summer. We have a spacious backyard with lots of trees and a walk-out basement. We have a gender-neutral nursery ready its cream with green eucalyptus and gold finishes. It has good natural sunlight and we know it will be a wonderful room for our child filled with prayer. JD has also started to build an interactive sensory wall in our loft-playroom to be!
We promise to provide a safe, secure, and stable home for your child. We will give them a wonderful education and encourage them to follow their dreams. We will love them, put them first and be the best parents we can be for them. We promise a warm home filled with laughter and so much love. We promise to make everything special and to always point them to the Heavenly Father.
We promise your child will know their adoption story. We have even bought some children’s books about being adopted! We are open to whatever level of openness that you are comfortable with.

Our faith and how we met
I was at a church prayer night when I felt God calling me to write out a list of things I wanted in a husband and to be specific. I wrote out blue eyes blonde or red hair, a love for Star Wars, someone who would play video games with my dad, a prayer warrior kind quick to forgive and easy to talk to. This was Tuesday. Sunday morning, I walk into church and my mom sister, and I stop we all see this handsome blue eyed strawberry blonde man sitting by some of our friends. I introduced myself and that following Tuesday we went on our first date where he said the most beautiful prayer I have ever heard. We prayed after church that night on the way home and six years later this January we have never looked back. Meeting my husband is one of my biggest testimonies and a great example of how JD and I put our faith in everything we do. Just like that list I made we whole heartedly have faith that the birth mother that is meant to become part of our family and the baby meant for our family are out there just waiting to read our profile.
JD- loves to rebuild computers, go off-roading, and rebuild cars
Hannah- love to take Dance classes, read, craft, and decorate, and throw get togethers
Together- we love to watch movies, cook and bake, play board games and video games and I build legos!
About Our Home
JD grew up in our current home and his parents moved a town over and bought land for their farm when he graduated high school. It was used as a rental property until we got married and we rented it until we were able to buy it. We love this house. It has a really long driveway that all of our neighbor kids use and is backed up to trees so in the winter we see deer from our bay window in our kitchen.
We are so excited to go on trips to the zoo and the water park by our house. We loved going to the butterfly house and the science center growing up and can't wait to make new memories with our child. We love the Missouri Christmas festival near us with Santas from all over the world and a scavenger hunt to meet them all and collect cards for a giant coloring book. We have so many things we can't wait to experience with our child.
We will provide him/her with a good education and encourage them to follow their dreams. We look forward to hearing from you and want you to know that your child will not only know our love but the love of our heavenly father.
