Hello! We’re so excited to be growing our family through adoption. We both come from big families where traditional values are passed down. Our loving home in Alabama is ready to welcome our first child! We will do everything we can to ensure your child is loved, safe, and happy.
We look forward to sharing joy and laughter, and to caring for and supporting them through all things. As your child grows, we’re open to sharing updates and pictures, or meeting for visits, if you wish. We’re grateful to be considered as adoptive parents for your child and hope to get to know you!
Our Story
We met online when we both lived in Pennsylvania. After an instant connection we got married the following year. We’ve been a couple for 10 years and are ready to share our lives as parents. Going through infertility has made us closer and we believe God has been leading us to adoption through it all. It’s exciting to picture our family growing this way.
Together we enjoy:
• Going to escape rooms
• Seeing live music & entertainment downtown
• Attending local food or art festivals
• Traveling to visit family around the U.S.
• Our church’s silent auction fundraisers
• Watching new TV shows
• Board games
• Playing with our dog and cat
• Swimming
About Mary
I teach reading and grammar to fourth and fifth graders. I am passionate about sharing my love for books with my students!
Joe says: Mary is loving, caring, hard-working. She does so much to make our life good together! Mary will be a supportive mom and such a positive influence for our child.
Mary enjoys:
• Reading
• Watching historical fiction movies
• Video chats with our out-of-state family to play board games or catch up
• Time with my nieces and nephews to play games, swim, or watch Disney movies
About Joe
I am a manager of a plastic molding department that makes parts for new cars. I enjoy leading my team and seeing cars come out with parts we made.
Mary says: Joe is hard-working, responsible, a good listener, and a man of integrity. He does a lot around the house and is quite the handyman. He can fix about anything! Joe will be an attentive father who shows his love through service and kindness.
Joe enjoys:
• Playing golf or softball
• Watching Pittsburgh sports (Go Steelers!)
• Going to trivia night events
• Cooking or trying new foods
Our Home in Alabama
Our home is in a quiet, kid-friendly, suburban neighborhood with a community pool and paved sidewalks for family outings. We enjoy the great places to eat, mini-golf, live music, and an outdoor mall nearby.
We have a two-story brick house that we had custom built for us. It has 3 bedrooms, and a bonus room we love to use for entertaining. Our bedroom is on the main floor with a study next to us that we’ll turn into a room for the baby after we adopt. The backyard is fenced where we like playing with our dog or having barbecues.
Our Family
We have family spread out around the states! Joe has family in North Carolina and Pennsylvania; Mary has family in Arizona, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Indiana. We love planning vacations around seeing our relatives and enjoying the sites while we’re in those different places.
When we’re all together we enjoy outdoor games and an amazing spread of foods from our Italian and Polish backgrounds.
Our Promise
We promise to love your child and provide him or her with a safe, stable, supportive, and fun home life. We’re committed to providing a good education and to raising him or her with Christian morals and values. It’s important to us to support our child in their schooling, any hobbies or extra-curricular activities, and to encouraging their strengths and interests.
We promise to be honest about how we became a family through adoption, and open to any questions they have about it as they grow up. We will always talk about you out of love and appreciation, and honor the amount of contact you are most comfortable with.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for considering us as a family for your child. We would love to answer any questions or get to know you more! Just call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.
With love, Joe & Mary

What's most important to us
Our Catholic faith and marriage are important to us and we count on those two things every day. Together and with God, we can do anything! We attend a great parish, and Mary also teaches at a Catholic school. As parents we look forward to sharing our faith, family traditions, and love for traveling.
Our Pets
We have two pets who are great with kids. Our dog, Scotch, is a Corgi who loves to play, go for walks, run around to be silly, and snuggle. Our long-haired cat, Sebastian, loves to sleep in his little cat house and play with his jingle toys.
Favorite Family Traditions
• Summers swimming with our 7 nieces & nephews
• Christmas in Indiana with Mary’s family, sharing Oplatki, a Polish traditional wafer eaten for health & happiness
• Thanksgiving with Joe’s side (there's always so much food!)
• Games of corn hole and Kan-Jam
• Polish mushroom-potato borscht & pierogis
• Italian dishes of manicotti, stuffed shells, hot sausage, and braciole
