Hello!

We are Paul and Sarah and we always knew that adoption would be part of our story, especially after a miscarriage and medical issues that led to us being unable to have children. We were recently blessed in adopting our boy, Ethan, and are thrilled to grow our family once more. Along with our solid support system, we are excited to welcome your child into our family.

We are excited to include your child in our trips, family/ friend gatherings, game nights, and playdates!

About Us

We met online and have been married for 13 wonderful years. Our faith in God has led us through so much and we continue to trust in his plan for our family. Our jobs in education have us working with teachers and students to make teaching and learning a fun and engaging experience. We are truly blessed to have positions where we can make a positive impact in the lives of children.

Our lives have changed since adopting our son, Ethan, this year and we love sharing all of our passions with him. We enjoy going for car rides with our dogs, Jack and Bowser, are both big fans of Disney/kids movies, and enjoy playing classic video games.  We love collecting children’s books and see reading as an important family activity that we share with our son and look forward to sharing with our next child!

Meet Paul

Paul is fun and creative. He loves to joke and play games but is also a generous servant at heart. His faith drives him to use his time and talents to serve his family, friends, and coworkers. Paul loves all things Star Wars, Marvel, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and more. He enjoys dabbling with graphic design and plays guitar in his free time. Paul leads a tech team that supports the use of Chromebooks in classrooms in his district. It’s truly a passion of his as he is always reading books and blogs, or listening to podcasts about it. He also takes the time to grow spiritually as he gets up early every morning to exercise, read, and journal.

I’ve seen Paul come alive as a dad. He’s excited to get that elusive first laugh from our son and looks forward to guiding our children through life, sharing his favorite franchises and passions as well as his love of God and people with them.

Meet Sarah

Sarah is a social person and loves to spend time with friends and family. She enjoys grabbing coffee with friends, dabbling in the garden, and spending time with our dogs, Jack and Bowser. Sarah loves spontaneous drives, road trips, and sing-alongs with her favorite songs (country, classic R&B, or worship).

Sarah is a Special Education Coordinator for her school and is a passionate advocate for students with special needs. Her expertise in child development can often be a topic of conversation as our friends with young children will come to her with questions or ask for guidance. I’ve seen how she cares for her students, our friend’s kids, and our niece. She has been such a wonderful mother to our son.  She is attentive as she talks to him and meets his needs. She’s excited to start new family traditions and will teach our children to show love and respect for others, help them reach all of their important milestones, and share with them her love for storytime.

Our Home in Arizona

We live in a quiet little community in the heart of a bustling city. It’s a tri-level home with four bedrooms, a game den, an office, and a big main room for gathering with family and friends for game or movie nights. We have a smaller backyard that is perfect for playing with our sweet dogs, while there are tons of green rolling hills right outside our front door within our community. Not to mention there are several great parks just a short drive away.

We’re just a few minutes away from Sarah’s parents where we like to take walks and enjoy their pool in the summer. We are also just a quick freeway trip away from Paul’s parents where we like to sit out and have a fire in the cooler months. No matter what time of year it is, there is always something fun to do with friends and family!

Our Son & Families

We adopted our son, Ethan, at birth and he has brought such joy to our family. We are thrilled for him to become a brother to your child and are excited to see the sibling bond grow between them.

We both come from faithful families of five and are the left-handed middle children of our families. Paul has an older sister and a younger brother while Sarah has an older and younger brother. Sarah’s older brother has one daughter who is so excited to have another cousin to play with. Holidays are often spent back and forth between both sets of parents’ houses and sometimes even combining both families for Christmas dinner. Some of Paul’s family lives in Arizona with us and we like to take trips to visit. Our families are all thrilled for our second adoption!

Our Promise to You

We promise to lead by example. We will show your child the importance of having a relationship with God, how important a good education is, and how truly special they are. We promise to embrace their heritage and culture as we make it a part of our family. They will grow up knowing their story and how they came into our lives. We will show them how important it is to love and respect others. We have so much more love to share and promise your child will grow up in a home with a wonderful brother, caring parents, and a loving extended family.

We look forward to meeting you and promise to keep you updated on your child’s life through letters, pictures, and visits at your comfort level.

More About Our Family

Our Special Interests

We love board games and have developed quite a collection of them. Our favorite tradition is playing games with friends on New Year's Eve where we keep track of points and award a trophy to the winner at midnight. It is a fun, family tradition that we are excited to pass on and share with our child!

Our Faith

Our faith is the core of our relationship as we know we wouldn't be the people we are today without the grace and mercy of God and the blessings he has brought into our lives and our marriage. We attend church each Sunday and like to do daily readings together in order to keep us prayerful and positive.

Our Son

Ethan joined our family in January of 2022 and has taught us so much about what it means to be a parent. Together we are able to support, encourage, and help him grow and thrive as a team. His birth mom is following along with all of his milestones as we are sending tons of pictures for her to have and cherish.

In Closing

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We look forward to welcoming your child into our family, knowing they will be loved and cared for by us, our family (including two retired grandmothers), and many friends with young children. We look forward to sharing with them our passion for family, fun, and travel. We are open to sending letters and pictures, visits, or sharing a private social media page to update you on all the important milestones as we celebrate your child's life.
