Hello from Tennessee! We are a fun-loving Christian couple and are very excited to become first-time parents through adoption! We enjoy attending our church, visiting family, trips to amusement parks, and swimming in our pool. We would love to learn more about you and your little one. We are open to pictures, updates, and visits at your comfort level.

Our Story

We have been happily married for 4 years. We met online 5 years ago. We were engaged at 4 months and were married after one year of dating!

After two years of fertility treatments and pregnancy loss, we feel God is leading us toward adoption. We are so excited to expand our family through adoption!

Things we enjoy together: exploring our community, Top Golf, amusement parks, swimming in our pool, playing cards & board games, and going to the movies.

We love spending time at home together. We do enjoy a few trips a year to visit family, as well as visiting new places too. We can’t wait to include our child in our adventures, play games together, and read them bedtime stories!

Meet Tony

I am a software engineer for a small company that focuses on water management. I work remotely, which means no commute, and I can work from anywhere! I enjoy programming, learning new things from YouTube, and music. I am looking forward to sharing my love of learning with our child, exposing them to many different activities, and helping them to follow their specific interests and dreams.

Latest Adventures: baking homemade bread, attempting to learn guitar again, and excited to soon have my grandmother’s piano to play again.

Tony, according to Katie: Tony is loving, has a teacher’s heart and is a lifelong learner. He’s a follower of Christ and a great leader for our family. He has integrity in his work, is non-judgmental, and has a strong moral compass. He often tells cheesy dad jokes and is always making me laugh.

Meet Katie

I have been a professional nanny for 17 years, helping kiddos grow and thrive while being a support system to their parents. Since our move last year, I have become a homemaker. I enjoy listening to podcasts & music and staying connected with friends & family. I look forward to sharing my passion for baking, cooking, and reading with a little one. I’m excited to do art projects, make homemade play-dough, and chase bubbles!

Latest Adventures: Puzzles, trying new soup recipes, and crocheting a baby blanket

Katie, according to Tony: Katie is the definition of a caregiver. She is kind and compassionate and takes care of everyone around her. She is the most loyal person I know and has many lifelong friendships. Five of her nanny families even made it to our wedding! She is great at planning all our activities and trips. She is also hilarious and always keeps me laughing.

Our Home In Tennessee

We moved a year ago from middle Tennessee to the Northeast side, and we love our new community! It is calm and peaceful. We have enjoyed exploring the area and attending community events.

Our home is a spacious and welcoming 4 bedroom 3 bath ranch with a finished basement. The backyard is fenced-in with a pool. We also have another fenced area we look forward to one day filling with a swing set. We refer to our home as our own oasis! Tony will often take his laptop outside to work and enjoy the weather.

Our Extended Family

Katie’s family lives in Idaho in the small town where she grew up. We enjoy visiting a couple of times per year. She has an older brother and a younger sister with 3 nieces, 2 nephews, and 3 step-nieces. She has extended family on the West coast as well as nearby in Virginia, where we enjoy going for Thanksgiving.

Tony’s family lives in middle Tennessee where he grew up. He was raised as an only child. He has an older half-sister and one niece. We usually all celebrate Christmas together. He has extended family within a few hours, and we enjoy seeing all of his family throughout the year. His father passed away 8 years ago, which was difficult because they were very close.

Our families are so excited and supportive of our adoption. They’re all looking forward to welcoming our child into the family. They can’t wait to share family traditions, play games together, and roast marshmallows.

Our Promise

Our promise to you is that your child will grow up in a home full of unconditional love, stability, and lots of laughter. Your child’s dreams, goals, education, and talents will be encouraged and supported. We promise to raise him or her with Christian values and to know Jesus.

We promise that you will be talked about openly, and your child will know their adoption story. We look forward to building an open relationship at your comfort level and will hope for you and pray for you.
