Hello from Georgia!
Thank you for taking time to consider us as your child’s adoptive parents. Adoption has always been on our hearts, and after being married for a little over five years, we have decided to make it official! We are so excited to grow our family through adoption, and look forward to getting to know you!
¡Esperamos conocerte!
We are an energetic, active, social, financially stable couple. We love to participate in outdoor activities that help us stay fit. While our daytime activities keep us busy, we enjoy cozying up in the evenings after work to watch one of our favorite shows, “Friends” or “Survivor”, play a board game, or just talk and catch up on our days. We are active members of our church community, have served in the children’s ministry, and are part of a small group. Through our church, we’ve built in lifelong friendships.
We are best friends, and we work hard at prioritizing our marriage to make sure we are the best we can be for one another and our family we desire to grow. We share lots of laughs, have way too much fun together and are each others biggest fans!
Growing our family: We’ve looked forward to raising children together since we met. Last year we gave birth to a baby girl, our Caroline Grace, who lived for just two days. She will always be a special part of our family’s story, and in our hearts forever. We’ve always talked about adopting a child, and our commitment to growing our family, and sharing our love as parents, remains strong. We are excited and ready to adopt!
Zach is a lover of sports, mostly football. He loves to play sports, read about sports, watch sports, and can beat anyone in sports trivia! Zach has never met a stranger, and he can talk to anyone. He invests deeply in his friends and his family. Once you are in his circle, he would drop anything to help you out. Zach’s soft servant heart makes kids adore him and adults drawn to him. He is a hard worker and works to ensure we are financially stable, and using our time, money and gifts to love and serve those in need.
What I love most about Zach is his genuine love for others; he is able to make anyone he meets feel like the most special and valued friend. Zach is lighthearted, quick to forgive, the first to laugh and the last to get angry or upset. I cannot wait to see him become a dad; I know he’ll be the best!
Halie loves to spend time at home where she enjoys crafting (making cards for friends, water color, Pinterest crafts, and more!), reading, snuggling her pup, Mera, or being outside. When she is not at home, you can find her teaching or taking a barre class at the studio, sharing a cup of coffee with a friend, or outside enjoying the sunshine!
Halie loves teaching middle school, and she works hard to build relationships with her students and coworkers. Halie has wanted to be two things her whole life: a teacher and a mom. After teaching for 6 years, she is ready to become a stay at home mom after we adopt!
Our families both raised us in Christian homes where we learned to love God and love others. Our families love deeply and get along well with one another!
We are fortunate to be very close with both of our families! Zach’s parents live about two hours away and we see them a couple times a month. We see Halie’s family more frequently because we all live on the same property together. Halie’s sister and brother in law are looking forward to being an aunt and uncle and loving up on our child! Both sets of parents are very excited for us and are looking forward to becoming grandparents once again! Our families love deeply and get along well with one another; we are lucky to spend Thanksgiving and Christmastime all together, as one big family. As our family starts to grow, we are looking forward to new traditions and more memories made with our extended family!
Our Home in Georgia
We live on a small, 10 acre farm with Halie’s parents, and her sister and brother in law are our neighbors! There is lots of room to run around, walk, play, and enjoy the outdoors. We have a barn along with a handful of animals: a horse, donkeys, sheep, chickens, pig, and goat! We love our country oasis in the suburbs!
Our home sits on the back of the property and is a small 4 bedroom house. We have an open kitchen, and living room, and down the hall, we have the nursery set up right next to our bedroom.
We have a mini Goldendoodle, Mera. She is playful, spunky and loves everyone she meets. She loves to cuddle and look out the window at the birds and squirrels. She is a joy to have around!
We promise to raise your child in a home with loving parents who love one another, God and all their children deeply. We promise to show our child how to love others, be thankful for what they have, and take advantage of the adventures this world has to offer. We promise to provide for your child and be financially stable as he or she grows up. We will provide ample opportunities and support for education. We promise to be loving and supportive of their passions, dreams, adventures and goals. We cannot wait to share family vacations to the beach and abroad, treasured time with grandparents, aunts and uncles, and watch our child grow and build life lasting friendships.
We welcome the chance to get to know you, and will honor a connection with you after the adoption, if you’d like. You will always be someone special to our family! To contact us, please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

More About Our Family
Our Special Interests
We both love spending time with our family and friends. Community and relationships are very important to us, and we have worked diligently for many years to cultivate long lasting relationships with our friends and family. We also enjoy adventures, traveling, and trying new things. We love to spend time together outside on our front porch or playing a board game!
We were both raised in strong Christian homes, and we have built our marriage on the foundation of values and morals instilled in us as we were raised. As adults we grown our faith as our own, not just because we were raised this way. We enjoy serving at church together, including helping with youth ministries.
Our Musical Interest
As a southern couple, we love country music! Zach also likes Indy Rock and Hip Hop. Halie enjoys listening to worship or Spanish music.
