A Letter from Tony & Felicia
Hello, and welcome to our family! We look forward to meeting you and getting to know who you are as well as the desires you have for your child. We’re an easy-going couple that is excited to bring a child of any race into our home. We enjoy spending time together with family and friends and being involved in a variety of community activities. We are so excited to have your child join us in our small farm town where everyone feels like family. We look forward to play days at the park, youth league sports games, community activities, and traveling with your child.
We’ve been married for seven years and met while serving at church camp. Each summer we head back to camp to lead a week for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. We get to be silly, have fun, spend time outside, and lead together. We cannot wait to make this a family event!
We’re looking to adopt after experiencing infertility and being foster parents for four years. Through our foster care journey, we realized we were ready to pursue domestic adoption.
We love to travel and look forward to sharing adventures with your child. We want our child to grow up knowing how big the world is and show him or her all the wonderful things it has to offer. We’ve been on several mission trips and love to learn about and serve people of other cultures. We’re excited to share this passion with your child.
Tony is such a compassionate and loving person. I’m often amazed by his quiet, gentle, and humble spirit. He remains logical in all circumstances and provides a constant sense of calm and peace to our home.
Tony is also a total NERD! He loves all things cartoons, video games, comics, superheroes, and Star Wars. His childlike spirit makes him great with kids and the life of the party. He often makes excuses to babysit our friend’s children so that he can watch cartoons guilt free!
Tony will be a great dad because the love he has for his family is unconditional and far-reaching. Our child will be lucky to call him daddy!
Felicia is smart, has a great laugh, and is dedicated to every child that comes into our lives to help them the best person they can be. She’s a gifted writer, has an amazing voice, and loves being creative and crafty, making our house into a home.
Felicia has a caring heart for all people in need, both near and far. She’ll devote all of her energy and passion into loving our child and helping them be the best version of themselves. She has the ability to work with kids that have a variety of needs and works with them until they reach their full potential. She is looking forward to teaching our child as he or she grows up. Our child will be truly blessed to have her as a mom.
Felicia comes from a big extended family that all live very close. There are over 30 grandchildren, and over 15 great-grandchildren and more keep coming! She has one brother, and her parents live about 10 minutes away from our house.
Tony comes from a smaller family. He has one brother who lives in Tennessee with his wife and two sons. Tony’s parents live in Georgia, but visit several times a year and look forward to spoiling another grandchild.
We live in the heart of Illinois. Our town is small enough to offer a quiet life of small town charm, but big enough to offer many opportunities. We love being able to see the farmers drive their tractors down our street, going to the farmers market on Saturdays, and going to the park a block from our house. We also love the entertainment that our small town has, from a great community theater, an upscale movie theater, concerts in the park, and local festivals throughout the year. We have some of the best fireworks in the state!
We promise to help your child become a loving, caring, and compassionate person. We promise to give your child the best life possible by providing them with opportunities to explore their passions and talents. We look forward to a lifelong relationship with you and your family if you desire. To learn more about us, please call or text Lifetime at 1-800-923-6784.

More About Our Family
Our Special Interests
Felicia loves to read, craft, garden, and travel.
We both come from a Protestant Christian background. We were both raised in Christian churches and attend a Christian church as a couple. We are very involved with our church through children's ministry, church camp, worship ministry, and our small group. We love the church family that we have created and depend on the support they give us. We look forward to raising your child in a Christian home where they will know the love and acceptance of Jesus.
Our Musical Interest
We could not be more diverse in our musical interests. Felicia loves country music and any song you can dance to. Tony loves screamo, rock, and heavy metal, the louder the better!
About Our Home
We live in a three bedroom brick house with our two dogs. Maverick is a Yorkie and Stella is a Morkie and they are little bundles of high energy. These two doggies love people and cannot wait to have a full-time "little person" to give all of their attention to.
We love having friends over to relax in our hot tub, grill out on our patio, and participate in fun dinner parties. S'mores nights are our favorite summertime activity.
Our home is filled with bright colors, Dr. Seuss quotes, and modern decorations. Because Felicia is a lover of all things Seuss, we have a Dr. Seuss nursery complete with a four-wall mural painted by our friend.
We love to fill our home with pictures of our friends and family as well as artwork from the kiddos in our lives.
We do not have any children in our home at this time. We are so excited about our first adoption!
