A Letter from Eric & Michelle
Hello! We are a military family who look forward to adopting to grow our family. We believe that strong family values are the foundation for a great life. We will provide your child with a lifetime of unconditional love and a supportive family.
We married 10 years ago and adopted our son 5 years ago. Our home boasts supportive parenting, beautiful country living and a sibling for your child to grow up with. We believe that an atmosphere of unconditional love is best for children. We truly appreciate and enjoy each other. There is nothing more fun than playing together with our son. Children are so precious to us. We always have fun playing, whether it be a silly board game or hike in the country.
We will do everything we can to provide opportunities for your child to realize and reach their goals in life. We have made arrangements to ensure your child will have funding for college available, should they desire to attend. We look forward to adding to our family through adoption!
Eric is caring, smart, and witty. He is a career member of the Air Force, a great occupation that gives our family wonderful security. He reads to our son every day and takes him on adventures around the countryside to learn new things. One of his favorite things to do is pick a town we have never visited before and plan a fun, last minute trip. Eric enjoys playing with our son, hockey, hiking, riding bikes, grilling, tinkering with his truck and volunteering. He currently volunteers for the Red Cross. My favorite thing about Eric is that when he smiles at you, he means it.
Michelle is intelligent, funny, graceful and family focused. She is a stay-at-home mom who takes great pride in her role. Michelle loves cooking, gardening, riding bikes, horseback riding, walking the dog and craft projects. Michelle’s favorite activities with our son are playing outside and teaching Hunter to read. Outside of the home, Michelle volunteers with her therapy dog to help children build reading confidence, and she works as a home station medic for the Air Force Reserve one weekend a month. Michelle also volunteers, teaching health courses to international college students in underdeveloped countries. She loves with everything she has and it shows in our happy, healthy son.
Hunter came to us through the blessing of adoption. We are fortunate and lucky to have him and we never take the miracle of adoption for granted. Hunter is very smart and curious. He loves to read, play outside with friends and play family games together. Hunter will be raised knowing his adoption story as we are proud to share it with him. We send his birth mother pictures and updates and cherish her deeply.
We have a dog, Bear, and a cat, Spooky. Both were rescued from an animal shelter. Bear is a licensed therapy dog. He and Michelle volunteer their time at convalescent hospitals and libraries. Both pets are well groomed, vaccinated, and trustworthy around children.
As an infertile couple, we sought support through our faith. We enjoy the community of friends and family both in Church and otherwise. We have birth moms and God to thank for the miracle of adoption and pray we are blessed with a child.
Our home is located in big, beautiful Texas. Our house has four bedrooms, which provides plenty of room for children and for visiting family. While outdoors, we enjoy all the space we need for horseback riding and country living. We have a large, fenced yard shaded with lush trees. We also enjoy a garden that Eric built for the family. Our home is where we spend quality time together whether it be cooking dinner, playing outside, reading books or decorating for the current holiday.
We live in a private, gated community that offers playgrounds, a children’s library, a great school, a lake, and a community center where children can take science and art classes. Neighboring families have young children for Hunter and his future sibling to play with. Living in Texas provides us with great opportunities to explore nature. In our town, we also enjoy a drive-in movie theater, a roller skating rink, a zoo, and mini golf.
As experienced adoptive parents, we promise to honor your wishes by giving your child a great life. We provide a safe and nurturing home with opportunities for a college education, should your child wish to pursue it. We believe that unconditional love is doing what is best for the child. We put the child’s needs first, always. We are open to any level of contact that the birth family desires.

More About Our Family
We put ourselves through college and understand how difficult it is to complete without the financial backing. We have made arrangements to ensure your child will have funding for college available. We are proud to be a military family. Ensuring the next generation can live in a free country is important to us.
As an infertile couple, we looked to God for help. God gave us the strength to find our way. We know we have God to thank for the miracle of adoption and hope with all our hearts that he blesses us once again.
Our Musical Interest
We enjoy a variety of genres. Eric has a great singing voice. Our community offers music classes to help introduce children to music. We look forward to giving our children opportunities to explore their musical interests.
About Our Family
Eric and Michelle have a total of 6 siblings. We often have visits from family members, especially grandparents. We love that our home has become a gathering place for our loved ones. Your child will have plenty of young cousins to play with. We also have family in California, Alaska, Virginia, Nevada, and Missouri whom we visit regularly. We love to spend time together, creating lasting memories.
Our Parenting Style
We think every child deserves a chance to live life to its fullest. We plan to achieve this by teaching your child; a curiosity for the world around them, determination to reach their goals, honesty to keep their heart true and willingness to help others that are less fortunate.
