Linda Rotz Director Lifetime Adoption Florida

Linda has become an adoption specialist by working for over 16 years in the child welfare, foster care system, and for Lifetime Adoption Agency in Florida. As an adoption specialist, she’s been a part of developing adoption procedures and training materials in this state. Linda has degrees in Human Development and Mass Communications with a minor in Management. In grad school, Linda’s focus was on Social Work and Marketing. In the state of Florida, Linda is a certified Adoption Specialist, Child Welfare Case Manager Supervisor, and Child Welfare Trainer.

Linda manages and supervises the operations in our Florida office. She strives to create and execute policies and procedures per Florida laws. Linda also provides educational outreach and maintains connections in the community. She helps birth mothers to make sure that the pregnancy option of adoption is a good experience for them, and supports adoptive families through their adoption process. Linda also performs adoption home studies and post-placement supervision reports for the State of Florida, maintaining and following ICPC procedures.

Often called “the cheerleader” of the office, Linda enjoys connecting people, seeing them succeed, and watching them grow in their passion. As an adoption specialist, Linda’s personal passion is mentoring. Linda volunteers her time mentoring those in addiction and recovery programs. She provides support, counseling, and coaching to many young people struggling with their addiction. Linda also gives presentations at rehabs and schools.

“My spare time is all about spending time with my family. We love to go boating!” Linda gushes. She enjoys reading, quilting, gardening, and catching concerts from up-and-coming local musicians.
