When I got pregnant, I was already parenting my son, who was a year old. I found myself in an unstable marriage and realized that this wasn’t the kind of life I wanted for myself and my children. So, I started to think about adoption.

With Lifetime’s help, I created an adoption plan for my son, Cole. He’s now in his twenties! It’s my hope that by sharing my perspective and experience, I can encourage you about the potential of open adoption.
I can’t relay how proud I am of all of my boys. Lifetime has made an impact on open adoption and allowed my son Cole and I to establish and maintain a bond that is strong and unbreakable. Cole is actively engaged in our family and we continue to add to it!
