Hello! We are so thankful for this opportunity to share a little about ourselves and the life we’d love to share with your child. Nothing would make us happier than to grow our family and bring another child into our lives. We are a happy family of three who love affection, caring for one another, kindness and respect for others, and being together as much as possible. Hard work and finding ways to help our community are important to us. We also enjoy relaxing at home or getting together with loved ones. Every year we take several family trips to do different things, like skiing, cruises, sightseeing, going to the beach, and more. We have prayed as a family and believe God has led us to adoption. It would be wonderful to learn more about you and talk about the hopes you have for your child’s future. We’d be honored to be a part of your life and to be chosen as your child’s adoptive family.
A Little About Us
We met online and have been happily married over 10 years. It was always a dream of ours to raise a big family and we have loved being parents to our son, Javier. We truly believe God has a child meant to join our family through adoption and we’re excited to see who this journey will lead us to. After we adopt, Yalennie will be a stay-at-home mom until the child is in school. We’re also fortunate to have help from our own mothers too, who can’t wait to babysit the newest grandchild when needed.
Together we enjoy:
• Traveling to do cruises, explore the beach, and go to tropical places
• Theme parks, like Six Flags, Disneyland, Sesame Place, and Sea World
• Water sports and boating
• Camping
• Trying new experiences, like fishing in Alaska or whale watching, seeing Disney in Paris, and more!
About Yalennie
Adolfo says: I love how caring and loving Yalennie is with everyone around her. She is an amazing mom and always there for our son, no matter what. She impresses me every day. Yalennie manages so much for our family and stays involved in our son’s life, like being homeroom mom or attending every school function. She loves planning our next vacation and always keeps our home organized and running smoothly. Yalennie loves being a mother!

About Adolfo
Yalennie says: Adolfo is an amazing husband and father who is always there to support us. He is very kind and giving, always finding ways to make us happy. Plus he’s an excellent cook! Adolfo works hard and happily goes along with my spontaneous ideas. He’s been a role model our son looks up to and I know he will always do everything he can to help and be there for our children.

Family Life
Our son, Javier, is very sweet, kind, and funny. He loves Disney, traveling, swimming, riding horses, karate, and playing video games. We know he’ll be an amazing big brother! Javier loves babies and gets into engaging with them. He is excited about our plans to adopt.

Our Home in Florida
We live in the suburbs of Florida, in a great neighborhood where everyone has about an acre of land. Our property has a pool, swing set, and space to ride bicycles. We enjoy relaxing outside and having get-togethers in our tiki huts around the patio. The house has 5 bedrooms, one of which we are excited to decorate for our future child, after they are big enough to sleep in their own room.

We believe in raising children with kindness and lots of love. The child we are chosen to adopt will always know how loved they are, by so many, including you. We also believe in teaching our kids to have good values, to show kindness and love to others, and to grow and love themselves for who they are. We believe education is important and we will set up private school options that meet our children’s needs and help them reach their long-term goals too, such as college. We will always encourage our children to pursue what makes them happy and be their biggest support as they explore their interests and gifts.
We’re open to a relationship with you, if you’d like ongoing contact as your child grows up. We will be honest with him or her about how we all came together through adoption. More About Our Family
What Matters to Us
Being trustworthy, dependable, and loving is very important to us because we believe those qualities create a strong foundation for everything worthwhile in life, like relationships. To us, you must be there for each other in order to grow and stay bonded as a family. Out of a stable, grounded, supportive home life, we are able to be there for others. We attend a Catholic church and are part of their community outreach where we get to help local families in need. Our goal is for our children to learn they can count on family and find ways to help others.
Our Extended Family
On both sides, we each have a brother and sister, and between them we have 8 nephews and nieces. Javier loves time with his cousins! We love living close to our loved ones, including Yalennie’s parents, and see each other a lot. Holidays and birthdays are so special because we can all get together as one big group. Adoption is already a part of our extended family too. Everyone is happy about our plans to adopt and can’t wait to meet the child who will join our family.
Travel Traditions We Love
• Summer vacations at our beach apartment
• Spring break skiing or trips to the Florida Keys to boat and enjoy water sports
• Camping 2-3 times each year
What I Love About My Job
Adolfo: I have flexible hours managing our own company that does clinical research to develop new medications. We get to help patients who need free medical care.
Yalennie: As a Realtor, as well as part of our clinical research company, I like being able to help others and have flexibility and independence to be involved with our son’s activities and volunteer at his school.
