Our story began in Florida, where we both grew up surrounded by close-knit families and strong community roots. We met at an evening church event, instantly clicked, and built our relationship on laughter, faith, and showing up for each other. After several years together, we married and eventually settled in quiet town in Georgia to be closer to family.
We’ve always known we wanted to grow our family through adoption. Our home is steady, loving, and full of support — the kind of place where a child is celebrated, encouraged, and deeply cared for. We’re ready and excited to welcome a little one into our lives and to honor the incredible role you play in their story.
About Us
We’re a couple with a balanced mix of hard work, ambition, and the kind of fun that keeps life feeling full. We met years ago in a small group focused on personal growth and spirituality, and those values still shape how we move through the world today. We try to live in a way that’s thoughtful and generous because we feel strongly about giving back what has so freely been given to us, whether that’s showing up for people we care about or finding small ways to make someone’s day easier.
We both love live music, going hiking with our dog, and discovering new places, but we’re just as happy spending an evening catching up with friends or relaxing at home. Creativity comes naturally to both of us, and we’re known for being warm, funny, and easy to be around—people our friends trust and genuinely enjoy.
More than anything, we’re ready to share our lives, our home, and our hearts with a child. We hope you can feel the steadiness, joy, and genuine care behind who we are and the family we’re hoping to grow.
About Jordan
According to Alan: Jordan brings so much light into our home. She’s the energetic one — always encouraging us to try new things, explore new places, and make everyday moments feel special. She pours her heart into her career in healthcare because she loves helping people and making their lives better.
She’s happiest near the water, connecting with friends and family, or hosting people in our home that she’s very thoughtfully and creatively designed to feel welcoming and unique. Jordan has a natural gift for making others feel seen and supported, and she shows up for the people she loves without hesitation.
In quieter moments, she’s curled up with a book, getting in a good workout, or dreaming up creative touches for our home. And when she thinks about becoming a mom, her whole face lights up. She’s most looking forward to the everyday magic — reading bedtime stories, exploring the outdoors, creating traditions, and building a home where a little one feels safe, celebrated, and deeply loved.
Jordan is warm, dependable, and full of joy — and I know she will be an incredible mom who creates a safe, loving space for a child to grow.
About Alan
According to Jordan: Alan is the steady, calming presence in our home. He’s thoughtful, patient, and intentional in everything he does, which is one of the many reasons he’s such an incredible psychologist. He communicates clearly, listens deeply, and helps our family stay connected and grounded.
Outside of work, Alan loves being outdoors — carving new paths through the woods behind our house, fishing, hunting, or tackling a new project around our home. He’s very musical, creative, and hands‑on, whether he’s building a recessed fireplace wall, making up silly songs about brushing teeth, or finding small ways to make our space more comfortable.
Alan is most looking forward to teaching a child about the world — exploring the outdoors, sharing his love of music, building things together, and creating steady routines that help them feel secure. He can’t wait for the small moments too: early‑morning snuggles, curious questions, and the chance to be a safe place a child can always return to.
Alan is dependable, gentle, and full of quiet strength. He shows love through consistency and care, and I know he will be the kind of dad who makes a child feel safe, supported, and truly understood.
Our Family
Family is at the center of our lives. We’re very close with Jordan’s dad and Alan’s mom, and we stay connected with relatives spread across Kansas, Colorado, North Carolina, New England, and South Florida. We chose a home with plenty of space so family can visit often, and we love traveling to spend time with the people who matter most.
We both come from big, blended families — Alan has three siblings, and Jordan has four. Our closest relatives live just 30 minutes away, and we see them regularly. Much of our immediate family is still in Florida, and monthly visits keep those relationships strong. Alan’s mom even keeps a room ready for us at her home near the beach, making visits easy and frequent.
Everyone in our family is counting down the days until we welcome the newest little one. There are already seven children in the family, and they cannot wait to have a new cousin to love, play with, and grow up alongside. Our child will be surrounded by support, joy, and a whole team of people ready to cheer them on.
Our Home in Georgia
Our home sits at the end of a quiet cul‑de‑sac, surrounded by woods and plenty of space to explore. Alan’s mom owns the land right behind us, so together we share several acres where we walk trails, fish in our little pond, and enjoy being outdoors as a family.
Inside, our home has plenty of room to grow — five bedrooms, which includes space for a nursery and a separate playroom. We spend cooler months around the firepit making s’mores, and our back gazebo is one of our favorite spots to relax. As we prepare for adoption, we have made a few thoughtful updates to the back deck, including adding a secure door to give us extra peace of mind when little ones are playing outside.
We’re close with our neighbors and love that our home feels tucked away in the country while still being just a short drive from town. It’s a peaceful, welcoming place, and we can’t wait to share it with a child.
Our Promise
We promise to give your child a life filled with love, stability, and support. Our goal is to help them grow into a confident, resilient, well-rounded adult who always knows where they came from and how deeply they are loved by many.
We will teach them compassion, courage, gratitude, and the importance of showing up for others. We will be present, patient, and intentional, always putting their needs first.
Most importantly, we will honor you. Your story and your love will always be part of their life. We will make sure they know that you chose adoption out of the deepest care for them, and that your love is something to be celebrated. Your child will grow up knowing they were cherished from the very beginning.

More About Our Family
Our Special Interests
We each bring our own passions and curiosities into our home, and together they create a life that’s full, creative, and always interesting. Alan loves anything that lets him learn or build — whether he’s playing music, diving into a new book, tinkering with cars, or working on a project around the house. He’s happiest when he’s creating or discovering something new. Jordan feels most alive outdoors and around people. She loves hiking, spending time at the beach, trying new recipes, exercising, kayaking, and being with friends and family. Our interests complement each other in a way that keeps our home active, joyful, and always full of things to explore.
Our Faith
Our Christian faith is the foundation of our life and marriage. It shapes how we love, how we make decisions, and how we hope to raise a child — with grace, compassion, and a deep sense of purpose. We’re active in our church community and find a lot of strength in prayer, Scripture, and serving others. Our faith isn’t just something we practice on Sundays; it’s woven into our everyday life, guiding us to be patient, forgiving, and generous. We hope to create a home where our child feels unconditionally loved and supported, and where they can explore faith at their own pace with openness and encouragement.
Our Musical Interest
We’re both rockstars at heart — especially Alan, who spent years playing in a punk rock band. Music is a big part of the rhythm of our home. We love going to live shows, discovering new artists, and picking up the instruments we keep around the house to make our own noise together. Punk rock is our favorite, but really, we just love the energy, creativity, and connection that music brings into our lives.
Our Childcare Plans
Jordan works from home, and Alan works at a clinic about 45 minutes away. Both of our jobs allow time off when we adopt so we can bond as a family, and Alan’s independent license gives us flexibility to adjust our schedules as needed. Raising a child will always come before work. We plan to be present, intentional, and hands‑on, and we’re fortunate to have careers that allow us to put family first.
We’re also surrounded by a strong support system. Our family and friends are already excited to help with babysitting and anything else we may need. Our child will grow up with a whole community ready to love and support them.
In Closing
Thank you for taking the time to learn about our family. Adoption has been on our hearts for years, and we’re grateful for the chance to share a little of our world with you. We’ve built a home filled with love, stability, and support, and our families are already excited to welcome a new child.
We promise to give your child a life where they feel safe, encouraged, and deeply loved. We’ll show up for them every day, help them grow into a confident and compassionate person, and make sure they always know their adoption story.
We will honor and connect with you in whatever way feels right — whether that means photos and updates, occasional visits, or a quieter connection built on mutual respect. No matter what, your child will grow up knowing you that you will always be an important part of their story.
