Hi! We’re Amy and Andy, and we’re so grateful you’re taking a moment to get to know us. We’ve been married for 10 wonderful years and live a joyful, busy life filled with love, laughter, and family. Our two daughters, Nora and Evelyn, bring so much happiness and energy into our home, and being parents is the greatest gift we’ve ever known. We’ve always felt called to grow our family through adoption, and we’re so excited to welcome another child into our hearts and our home.

We want you to know how deeply we respect you and your story. We would be honored to get to know you at whatever level feels comfortable to you, and we are open to building a relationship based on trust and care. Our home is full of warmth, support, and unconditional love, and we look forward to sharing that love with a child and honoring the connection that begins with you.

About Us

We are an active, fun-loving family who loves spending time together both at home and on adventures. Being outdoors is one of our favorite things — we hike often in our local area, enjoy golfing together, and love summer activities like swimming and beach trips. Our girls keep us busy with swim team and dance, and we love cheering them on at every practice and recital.

Andy and I also love going to concerts together — it’s one of our favorite ways to spend time as a couple and something we always look forward to.

Sports are a big part of our family life, and we’re proud Chicago Bears fans who enjoy game days together. Travel is another passion — we love exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and making memories as a family. If it were up to Amy, we’d live out of a suitcase!

Life with our family is always active, joyful, and full of love, and we can’t wait to share all of these experiences with another child.

About Amy

Andy says: Amy is an incredibly kind, driven, and loving person, and the heart of our family. She has a natural way of making everyone feel welcome, supported, and cared for. She owns her own real estate company and truly loves helping families find a place to call home, guiding them through such an important moment in their lives.

Amy enjoys:

  • Working out & teaching fitness classes
  • Spending time outdoors
  • Traveling with our family
  • Decorating our home
  • Attending our daughters’ activities
  • Making holidays and everyday moments special
  • Staying involved in our community

She looks forward to teaching another child kindness, confidence, and the importance of hard work. She can’t wait to share bedtime stories, celebrate milestones, cheer on their accomplishments, and make sure they always feel deeply loved and supported.

  • About Andy

Amy says: Andy is an incredibly devoted husband and father, and the steady, dependable foundation of our family. He is hardworking, patient, and has a calm, reassuring personality that makes everyone feel safe and supported. He is Vice President of his family’s construction company, which has been in business for over 100 years.

    Andy enjoys:

  • Golfing
  • Fishing
  • Hiking and swimming
  • Playing guitar
  • Teaching our daughters new skills (he’s even taught them to drive an excavator!)

He looks forward to sharing his love of the outdoors, music, and his strong work ethic with our next child, encouraging them to explore, learn, and grow in a home full of love and support.

  • Our Family

Our Daughters: We are blessed with two wonderful daughters, Nora and Evelyn. Nora is friendly, outgoing, and makes friends wherever she goes — we often have to cap the number of kids at her birthday parties. Evelyn is a little shyer, but she is hilarious, full of personality, and keeps us laughing every day. Both girls love traveling, exploring new places, and spending time outdoors. They are so excited to welcome another sibling into our family and often talk about helping, playing, and being loving big sisters.

Our Extended Family: Our extended family is very close-knit and supportive. Many of them live nearby, and we also travel to visit cousins, grandparents, and other relatives throughout the year. We share meals, celebrate milestones, and keep in touch regularly, even when life gets busy. While adoption is new for our family, everyone is thrilled and supportive of our plans to grow our family this way. Some of our favorite traditions include Sunday family dinners, Friday night family dinners, weekend adventures hiking or swimming, summer vacations to the lake, holiday baking and decorating, and celebrating birthdays with family and friends. We can’t wait to share these traditions and create new memories with another child.

    Our Home in Illinois

We live in a family-friendly small town in Illinois, on a beautiful golf course with walking and biking paths that we love to explore together. Our home has three bedrooms and a full basement that’s perfect for family fun — it includes a movie area, a putting green, an exercise space, a bounce house, and a play zone with a little “school room” where our daughters love to play “teacher.” There’s also a first-floor playroom, so the kids always have a space to play close to the heart of the home.

We chose our home because of the open floor plan and large kitchen, which makes it easy to host family gatherings and parties. Our backyard is spacious and full of fun — it has a large swing set, a playhouse, and a sandbox, making it perfect for outdoor games, imaginative play, and enjoying nature together. We love that our neighborhood is safe, welcoming, and full of parks, trails, and local wildlife to explore.

    Our Promise

We want you to know how much we respect you for considering adoption for your child. We promise to always love your child unconditionally and to provide a home full of fun, laughter, and support. We are very hands-on parents — helping with homework every night, coaching sports, playing games, and simply being together. Your child will have endless opportunities to explore their interests, whether it’s sports through local organizations, traveling on big family vacations, or smaller trips throughout the year.

Most importantly, we want your child to always feel deeply loved and supported. Our home is warm, joyful, and full of energy, and we are excited to share every tradition, adventure, and everyday moment with them. We would love to have a relationship with you, in whatever way feels comfortable — sharing updates, photos, letters, or even occasional visits if you wish. We want you to know you will always be a part of their story, and we will always honor you.

We’d love to talk or answer any of your questions. Please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

    More About Our Family

    Our Weekends

Weekends in our home are full of togetherness. You’ll often find us on the go—cheering from the sidelines at games, heading to dance recitals, or spending time at the pool for the swim team. Our kids are involved in a variety of activities like sports, dance, softball, and swimming, and we love being their biggest supporters every step of the way.

Even with our busy schedule, we’re very intentional about making time as a family. We love getting outside for hikes, exploring new places, or simply enjoying time together at home. No matter how full our days may be, we always find ways to slow down and connect.

Sundays are especially meaningful in our home. We start the day with a big family breakfast—everyone gathered around the table and enjoying time together before the week begins. It’s one of our favorite traditions and a time we truly cherish. As the day winds down, we come together again for a large family gathering, surrounded by extended family. It’s the perfect way to end the weekend and a reminder of how important family is to us.

    Our Faith

Faith is an important part of our lives and family. We are Catholic, and it guides the values, traditions, and lessons we share with our children. Our faith teaches us about love, compassion, kindness, and the importance of serving others. We send our kids to a private Catholic school, where they are learning not only academics but also the foundations of faith, character, and community.

    Our Musical Interest

Music is a big part of our lives and something we love sharing together as a family. Andy is an amazing guitarist and singer — in fact, his music may have been what first won Amy over! He enjoys old-school country, folk, and anything with great guitar work, and his favorites include Chris Stapleton, Colter Wall, Steven Wilson Jr., Sturgill Simpson, and John Prine.

Amy enjoys many types of music, but country holds a special place in her heart. Growing up, she was a huge Kenny Chesney fan and still loves artists like Eric Church.

As a couple, we love going to concerts together — it’s one of our favorite date night activities. Music fills our home, our travels, and our lives.

    More About Our Home

Our home is bright, open, and full of life. The open floor plan features big windows that let in natural light and offer beautiful views of the golf course, making every room feel welcoming and cheerful. The large kitchen is the heart of our home, perfect for family parties, holiday gatherings, and everyday meals together.

On the first floor, there’s a playroom overflowing with toys where our girls love to create, imagine, and play. Upstairs, our three bedrooms and provide cozy spaces for everyone to rest and recharge.

The basement is a dream for family fun and learning — it includes a TV room with a putting green, an exercise area, a large play space with a bounce house, and a school room for creative projects and homework.

Outside, our large yard is full of adventure: a playset, swings, sandbox, and playhouse keep the kids active, imaginative, and entertained. Our home is truly a place where laughter, love, and memories are made every day.
