Hello! Thank you so much for considering us as you make an adoption plan for your child. We can only imagine the strength and love it takes to make this decision, and we’re so grateful for you.

We’re Austin and Hope, a fun-loving couple rooted in faith, love, and community. We have a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoy spending time with family.

We are looking forward to becoming first-time parents through adoption, knowing it is both a beautiful gift and a journey. We hold great respect for the love and sacrifice that brings this gift into our lives and are committed to honoring that as we welcome a child into our family.

About Us

We met at a college Bible study in 2012, and this year we celebrated 9 years of marriage! While we hoped that parenthood would have come sooner for us, we have also enjoyed and embraced the years of just the two of us, growing our love for God and each other, building a strong foundation for our family. We have learned what it means to be a team and have spent a lot of intentional time nurturing our marriage. We are more than ready to welcome a little one into our family!

We have so much fun together, love to laugh, and both have a deep love for our people. We share many interests, making spending time together easy and enjoyable. Some of our favorite activities include:

• Hiking with our dog, Freya
• Kayaking
• Traveling 
• Visiting Lake Michigan
• Playing board games
• Spending time in our pool
• Watching sports movies
• Savoring good food

We can’t wait to share our adventures with our child, introducing them to our favorite hobbies and nurturing a love for the outdoors from an early age.

Meet Hope

In the words of Austin: I love Hope’s heart; she is the most compassionate person I have ever met. She always puts others first and is incredibly intentional in everything she does. Soft-spoken, quick to listen, and slow to speak, she has a unique ability to love people so deeply that she often feels their emotions alongside them. Hope also has a passion for learning natural ways to support our health and well-being.

During the day, Hope runs our small business. She’s the glue that holds everything together and one of the hardest workers I know. She pours herself into every task, always striving for excellence and thriving on creating systems that keep things organized. She also loves building meaningful relationships with like-minded people in the hunting industry and connecting with our customers on a personal level.

In addition to our shared hobbies, Hope enjoys:

• Cooking 

I have no doubt that God planned for Hope to be a mom. Even before we were married, it was clear how much she longed for motherhood. Watching her light up when she’s around the kids in our lives is priceless. Her tender, patient heart creates a special bond with children, who instantly sense her kindness and love. They always gravitate toward her, knowing she’s a safe and caring presence. Hope is looking forward to being a stay-at-home mom!

Meet Austin

In the words of Hope: Austin is kind-hearted and genuine. He’s the kind of person who, once you get to know him, you just can’t help but love. Some of the best words to describe him are compassionate, gentle, and always up for fun. Austin’s servant-hearted nature shines through in his deep love for the people in his life.

Austin is a dedicated and hard worker, balancing his full-time career as an engineer with running our hunting accessory business. His creativity and problem-solving skills are evident not only in his work, but in the way he approaches everyday challenges and opportunities.

In addition to our shared hobbies, Austin enjoys:

Austin will be an incredible dad. He has a natural connection with kids, often joining in their activities with his playful, kid-at-heart personality. His heart melts at the sight of babies, and he’s already amazing with the children in our life. He looks forward to being a present, attentive, and loving father, pouring his whole heart into raising our children.

Our Home in Michigan

We live in a two-story farmhouse on a large piece of land in a rural community in West Michigan. Our home is warm and inviting, with four small bedrooms and a cozy, cottage feel. We feel incredibly fortunate to be “country neighbors” to Austin’s parents and his grandmother, with a path through the woods that connects our homes. We spend a lot of time walking the trails behind our house with our dog, Freya.

While we love the quietness and sense of community that come with rural living, we also appreciate the best of both worlds. We’re just a short drive away from several larger cities, giving us easy access to a wealth of resources, activities, and opportunities. Plus, we’re less than two hours away from Hope’s family, which makes frequent day trips and weekend visits possible.

We’ve poured a lot of love into preparing a cozy nursery, and we look forward to welcoming a little one into our hearts and our home!

Our Family

Our families on both sides are absolutely wonderful, and we’re so grateful for the love and support they bring into our lives. We enjoy spending time together often, and with so many shared interests and values, we consider many of our siblings and cousins some of our closest friends.

Austin’s sister is expecting her first child, and we are beyond excited to raise our kids together! It’s something we’ve been looking forward to for a long time, and we can’t wait for our children to grow up surrounded by such a loving, tight-knit extended family. We know our child will be welcomed with open arms and showered with love from both sides of our family.

Our Promise to You

We understand this is an incredibly important decision, and we are so honored to be considered. If you choose us, we promise to love your child with all our hearts. We will create a home filled with love, honesty, and open communication—a place where they feel safe and supported in sharing their questions, joys, fears, and struggles. We will always be there to listen with patience, understanding, and unconditional love.

We promise to share our faith with them, teaching them about the love of Jesus and the hope and redemption found in His sacrifice. Our faith is the foundation of our family, and we will guide them to live with kindness, compassion, and a heart for others.

We also recognize that we are not perfect people, and we don’t have all the answers. We will extend grace to ourselves, to each other, and to your child as we navigate the ups and downs of life. We believe in admitting when we’re wrong, learning from our mistakes, and growing together as a family.

We promise to encourage them to explore their unique gifts and passions, supporting them in whatever they choose to pursue. We will teach them life skills, such as hard work, financial responsibility, and respect for others, so they grow up confident, resilient, and ready to embrace all that life has to offer.

We promise to continue growing and learning as parents. We promise to nurture our marriage, working to be strong partners for each other, and to create a home where your child feels deeply loved and supported as part of a family that functions as a team.

We will always speak of you with love, respect, and gratitude, ensuring your child knows how much you love them. They will grow up knowing they are cherished by both your family and ours. We can’t wait to meet you, to hug you, and to welcome you into our family, because you will always be a part of it. We will forever be united by the most precious gift anyone could ever experience.
