Hi from sunny Florida! We are Blake and Kirsten. As a couple we enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, going to the beach, playing with our dogs, and having quiet nights at home. We have a happy, stable home with a lot of love to give and have always dreamed of sharing that with a child. We would be deeply honored to welcome your child into our family and provide them with unconditional love.
We hope that as you learn more about us, you’ll see two people who love each other deeply and are grateful to become first time parents through adoption!
About Us
We met in January 2022 and quickly discovered that we shared many of the same values, a similar sense of humor, and the same dream of building a loving family one day. In August 2023, we were married and began this exciting chapter of life together.
Our relationship is loving, supportive, and full of adventure. We truly enjoy spending time together and often say that even the simplest moments are better when we share them. Some of our favorite things to do include relaxing at the beach, having movie nights at home, and cooking meals together. We love filling our home with laughter, creativity, and meaningful time together.
Becoming parents is something we have dreamed about for a long time, and going through years of infertility and miscarriages we felt God led us to the path of adoption. We look forward to creating a home where your child always feels safe, supported, and deeply loved. We hope to fill your child’s life with encouragement, faith, family traditions, dance parties, and plenty of laughter.

Our Florida Home
We recently moved to the Florida panhandle, the emerald coast. We live in a spacious, quiet neighborhood with the beach only being 25 minutes away! We immediately knew this would be a wonderful place to raise a child and create new memories as a family.

Things about our home:
Our Family
Family is one of the most important parts of our lives. Blake comes from a big family and is the oldest of six siblings. He has loved watching his siblings grow into the adults they are today and has always taken pride in being someone they can count on. Blake shares a very close bond with his parents, siblings, and grandparents, and family time is something he deeply values.
Kirsten is the middle child in her family and has always shared a close relationship with her siblings. She loves cheering them on and hearing about their accomplishments. Kirsten is very close with her parents and grandparents, and family has always been a source of love, support, and encouragement throughout her life.
We both stay closely connected with our families—talking with them often and making time to visit each side of our family twice a year. They have been incredibly supportive of our journey to adoption and are so excited to welcome a new little one into the family to love and cherish.
Our child will be surrounded by a large, loving family who is already excited to welcome them with open arms and share in all of life’s special moments together.
Our Promise
We promise to love your child unconditionally and provide a home where they feel safe, supported, and deeply valued every day.
We promise to honor you. Your child will always know their adoption story and will grow up understanding how deeply they are loved by many.
We promise to raise your child in a faith-filled home where they will learn about the love of God. Through our actions and the way we live our lives, we will do our best to lead by example with kindness, compassion, and grace.
We promise to encourage your child’s dreams, support who they are becoming, and provide every opportunity we can to help them grow and thrive.
Most importantly, we promise that your child will always be surrounded by love, stability, and support, and we will always hold deep respect and gratitude for you.
We are committed to honoring an open adoption in whatever way feels right for you — whether that includes photos, letters, or occasional visits. Your child will always know about you and the beautiful story of their adoption. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we are already praying for you with so much love and hope.

More About Our Family
Why We Are Adopting
We are choosing to adopt because we have always dreamed of having a child to love, nurture, and grow our family with. We often find ourselves imagining a home filled with laughter, little footsteps, and the joy of creating new memories and traditions together.
The decision to adopt is one we came to with a great deal of thought, prayer, and reflection. After walking through infertility and experiencing loss, we felt our hearts being gently led toward adoption. We truly believe this path was placed in our hearts for a reason, and it has given us a deep sense of peace and purpose.
We have so much love to give and feel ready to share that love with a child. We are also incredibly grateful for the support of our families, who are excited and eager to welcome a child with open arms. Your child will be surrounded by encouragement, care, and a strong sense of belonging.
More than anything, we want to provide a home where a child feels safe, deeply loved, and celebrated for exactly who they are. Adoption is not just how we are growing our family—it is something we feel truly called to, and we are so hopeful for the journey ahead.
Plans For Child Care
Kirsten says: I’d love to share why becoming a stay-at-home mom is so important to me. I truly believe the early years of a child’s life are incredibly special and formative, and I want to be present for those moments as they grow and discover the world around them. Being home will allow me to give our child the consistency, love, and attention they need each day—from story time and playtime to comforting them whenever they need it most. My goal is to create a calm, nurturing home where they always feel safe, supported, and deeply loved.
I also look forward to giving our child opportunities to build friendships and spend time with others through playdates, outings, and time with our supportive friends and family.
Furthermore, I want our child to grow up knowing they are cherished every single day and surrounded by a family that loves them unconditionally.
Our Pets
We are lucky to have 3 amazing pups who bring joy, laughter, and endless cuddles into our lives.
Maxwell, our Yorkie-poo, has been with Kirsten since she was 16. He’s a bit of a couch potato who loves cuddling up with us, but he’s always ready to play with his toys and adores meeting kids.
Triton, our rescue mix, has a big personality and an even bigger heart. He enjoys walks on the beach, backyard playtime, cuddles, and spending time with kids.
Oakley, our shepherd mix, is the most outgoing. He loves playing fetch, exploring new things, car rides, and getting plenty of belly rubs—especially from kids.
Together, our 3 pups are the best of friends and bring so much love and laughter to our home. We know they will be gentle, loyal companions and wonderful playmates, and we can already imagine them wagging their tails beside a little one as our family grows.
A Typical Weekend
Every weekend looks different for us, depending what events there are around our area. On a typical weekend, Saturday mornings are spent downtown at the local farmer's market where we enjoy buying local produce and breads to make meals throughout the upcoming week. When we leave the market, we usually head down to one of the many beaches in our area and enjoy swimming, shelling, getting on the paddle board, snorkeling, soaking up the sun, and listening to the water. We always stop by our favorite restaurant when we are at the beach and order nachos.
On Sunday mornings we go to church and then we typically have more of a relaxing day when we get home, whether that be cleaning the house, walking the dogs, or enjoying our favorite shows and sports. Every Sunday evening, we like to cook a meal together and watch a movie to help us unwind for the upcoming week.
In Closing
Thank you for taking the time to learn about us and for considering us as you make such this important decision.
We would be blessed to raise a child in our home filled with unconditional love, laughter, faith, and encouragement. Our goal is to bring a child home to where curiosity, kindness, faith, and laughter are part of everyday life.
We will honor an open adoption. We promise that your child will know about you and their adoption story. You will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we are praying for you already!
