Hello from Idaho, famous for potatoes! We are a Christian couple who loves to explore the world – from our own state to other countries. Adoption has always been part of our plan for building our family, and we are excited to become first-time parents and ready to welcome a boy or girl of any race into our home. Megan is excited to become a stay-at-home mom, and we are both delighted to raise our child to know God, value education, and be the best version of whoever they dream to be. More than anything, we want your child to feel unconditional love and support and have an abundant life. We would love to get to know you and keep in contact through letters, photos, and visits if you would like.

What Makes Us, Us!

We met on a Christian dating website and hit it off! Shortly after we were married, we started trying to grow our family biologically. After being met with pregnancy losses, we prayed for direction and were led to pursue adoption. We are excited this door has opened for us and are thrilled to now be on this journey with you!

We enjoy hanging out together as a family. We love our slow mornings, drinking coffee and reading before work. We enjoy afternoon walks with our dogs and working on house projects together.

We can’t wait to bring our baby along on our adventures, such as camping, bike rides, playing games at coffee shops, going to thrift stores, and road trips – visiting family across the U.S. We have dreams of showing our baby other countries as well.

What Life is Like in Idaho

We love where we live! Our city has a great blend of things to do for the adventurous and the homebodies. There are a ton of bike paths that stretch from one end of the city to the other and an abundance of hiking and walking trails. We get snow in the Winter and some hot Summers, with beautiful Fall colors and Spring flowers. We go to a non-denominational church in our neighborhood where Megan works as the kid’s ministry director. In our church family, at least 5 other families have been built by adoption, and we’ve felt very encouraged by having a community built around that.

Let Me Introduce You to Brennan

Brennan is the most amazing listener and is very encouraging. He is always there to help and support me! He is the 3rd born and has 6 siblings. Brennan is an Engineer and really enjoys his job. He loves to solve problems and discover new ways to make something work.
He is also very involved in our church and loves working with the kids, youth ministry, and welcome team. His active and fun personality helps him to keep up with the kids and make them all feel loved and welcome. He loves getting our friends together for a double date or hanging out at our house for dinner. Brennan is the biggest extrovert I have ever met.

Some things he also loves:

  • Building Legos
  • Learning new skills and picking up new hobbies.
  • Anything sweet to eat.
  • Mountain Biking
  • Rock Climbing
  • Decaf Coffee
  • Working Out

He’s most excited to build a strong relationship with our child and be the kind of person they can go to with any question or problem.

Let Me Introduce You to Megan

Megan is introverted and reserved by nature and never afraid to adventure and try something new! Megan truly has a talent for cooking, and she loves to serve others with this skill. She regularly prepares meals and treats for events at our church. Cooking is definitely her love language. Megan’s adventurous side truly shines with her love for travel and seeing the world. She has done extensive travel and mission work in 14 different countries across Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, South America, and Central America. She is the second oldest of 7 kids, so she brings a wealth of experience in taking care of babies and children. She has become known as the “Baby Whisperer” because she is able to calm any crying baby.

Some hobbies she enjoys:

  • Cooking
  • Reading
  • Shopping
  • Going to the Gym
  • Gardening
  • Coffee Dates

She looks forward to traveling with our child and introducing them to the various cultures the world has to offer.

The People We Call Family

We both come from big families, and we are fortunate to see them often. Brennan has a sister near us in Idaho, as well as some extended family in town. Most of Brennan’s siblings are still in Montana, along with his parents, and we enjoy taking trips to go see them. His parents visit Idaho frequently as well. Megan’s mom and siblings live in Utah, with one of her brothers living in Japan. They live only a few hours from us, so we see them every couple of months. The rest of Megan’s extended family lives in Arizona – we enjoy visiting them in the winter!

We feel very blessed that our child will have cousins and lots of Aunts and Uncles to love on them and build relationships with.

Our Promise to You

We promise to love your child unconditionally, and you will always be part of our family and part of their story that makes them who they are. We would love to keep you updated with pictures and letters, facetime, and visits – if that is something you want. Your child will always know how much you love them and care for them. If there is a special tradition or an aspect of your background you desire to pass down to your child, we would be more than happy to keep that tradition in our family. We will celebrate their culture and history and do our part to learn and understand their background.

More About Our Family

Our Home Life

We live in a 3-bedroom, 1 story house with big yard, trees to climb and lots of grass to run on. We have 2 cattle dogs who adore people and playing with each other in the yard. Megan loves to make our house feel welcoming and cozy, loves to garden and is growing flowers, herbs, and vegetables. You can also find her in the kitchen making a new meal she came up with or tending to her sourdough. Brennan enjoys working in the yard and playing fetch with our dogs. He also works close to home and is able to come home for lunch. We enjoy eating out on our patio together or taking the dogs on a walk.

Our Faith

We are Bible believing Christians who love the Lord. We go to a non-denominational church and regularly serve in ministry. We have found joy, hope, and forgiveness in Jesus Christ and want other people to have that same experience.

Holiday Traditions

Megan loves holidays, and Brennan loves being a part of whatever fun and exciting thing she has planned. For Christmas, decorating the tree and hanging lights on the house is one of our favorites to do together.
We love to make Christmas cookies to give to our friends and neighbors - our favorites are macaroons or chocolate oreo walnut cookies! We spend Christmas in Idaho with just the two of us, we may sneak away to a mountain town and have Christmas in a log cabin. Thanksgiving is spent with either Megan's or Brennan's side of the family, and we alternate years. We love to be together and share family stories. For the 4th of July, we want to start making it a tradition to go camping with friends over that day!

Our Desires for Our Family

We have no idea how big of a family we will be blessed with, but we want 2 - 3 kids. Our plan is also to homeschool our children. We see a great value in education and want to equip our children with the best resources for their future if they decide to pursue a university, trade school, or another option! We love to travel and learn about other cultures; we want to be able to bring our kids along to discover the world and see life from another point of view. We want our kids to feel the freedom to pursue a sport or activity if they desire and learn the hard work and fulfillment in that. We hope to create a home environment where our children feel safe to come to us with any question or concerns they may have in life.

In Closing

Thank you so much for checking out our website. We are so excited to adopt. We cannot wait to bring our baby camping, decorate the Christmas tree with their first Christmas ornament, and introduce them to all their cousins! We promise to give your child so much love and support. You will always have a special place in our lives, and we pray for you and your baby every day.
