Hello, we are Chad and Abby. We are so grateful to be considered as adoptive parents for your child. We are a loving Christian couple from a small town in Georgia. We have been married for about five years and are best friends.
Family and faith are at the center of our lives, and our greatest hope is to raise a child in a home filled with love, laughter, and support. Infertility is part of our story, but we are amazed how God has turned that into the calling of adoption. We would be honored to get to know you and the hopes you have for your child.
About Us
We met many years ago at our home church, though our paths eventually went separate ways. Chad became a middle school art teacher, and Abby served on the mission field in West Africa. When we least expected it, God brought us back together, and we are so thankful for the life we now share. Our marriage is built on faith, love, laughter, and friendship.
Together we enjoy:
Meet Chad
Abby says: On our first real date, at the local Cracker Barrel, I knew I would marry him. Chad is caring, thoughtful, and has a way of making people feel valued and heard. His laugh is contagious, and he brings so much joy and humor into our lives. I know he will be an incredible daddy because he is already excited to share his talents, hobbies, and love for learning with our future child.
Chad is wonderfully creative and spends much of his free time painting, sketching, and working on different art projects. He also shares his passion as a middle school art teacher, where he is loved by his students and deeply invested in their lives. He enjoys reading biographies and ending the day streaming a good mystery.
Meet Abby
Chad says: Abby first caught my eye in a yellow dress on the church steps many years ago, and she still does today. She is the most loving, thoughtful, and dedicated person I know. I admired her heart for serving others long before we were married. Today, she pours that same care and passion into her work as a first-grade teacher.
At home, Abby brings so much joy to our life together. She loves cooking healthy meals, spending time with family and friends, and investing in the lives of children she teaches. She is thoughtful, joyful, and compassionate. I have no doubt she will be a wonderful mama.
Our Family
Family is a very important part of our lives, and we are blessed to be surrounded by loving and supportive families. We enjoy gathering around the table for good food and laughter.
Abby’s parents live nearby and are a regular part of our daily lives. Abby has one brother and a sister-in-law who are raising our two energetic nephews. Chad’s parents live in the beautiful mountains of Tennessee, and we stay closely connected through frequent visits and FaceTime calls. Everyone is excited to love a new family member.
Holidays are always fun with our families. We cook a great big meal at Thanksgiving. At Christmas traditional Christmas punch, decorations, and cookies are always present. We love to gather for cookouts for Memorial Day and the Fourth of July. We cannot wait to have our child as a part of these special times.
Our Home in Georgia
We live in a small southern town filled with friendly smiles and a strong sense of community. Our home is within walking distance of the town square, parks, and the local elementary school. We love spending our evenings eating dinner together and taking walks.
We live in a cozy three-bedroom home with plenty of space for a growing family. We have prepared a nursery that is ready for a new family member. We pray over the nursery daily and the future child that will call it home.
One thing we love most about our hometown is the opportunities it offers children to grow and explore their interests, whether through sports, music, art, theater, or other activities. We look forward to encouraging our future child in whatever they love most.
Our Promise
Above all, we promise to raise your child in a home filled with love, faith, and stability. We are already praying for you and your child, and are ready to pour our hearts into being devoted parents.
Your child will be deeply loved and supported by us and our families. We will teach them strong values and the importance of being a lifelong learner. We will always encourage them to pursue their dreams and interests.
We promise that your child will always know their adoption story and how deeply they are loved. We are open to staying connected through letters, photos, emails, and/or scheduled visits, whatever way feels most comfortable to you.
We hope to talk with you and learn more about you. Please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

Our Faith
Our faith is the foundation of our lives and guides every aspect of our lives. While we are far from perfect, we strive to follow Jesus and live according to His Word each day. We are actively involved in our church community. Chad serves as a deacon and in children’s ministry, while Abby serves in the nursery and women’s ministry. During the summer, you can find us transforming the church for Vacation Bible School. As parents, we hope to raise our child to know God’s love and have a relationship with Him.
Why Open Adoption?
We both have wanted to start a family, but infertility is a part of our story. After going through tests and trying treatments, God laid adoption on our hearts. Although, we were always open to adoption, we now believe that is exactly how we were meant to build our family. We are humbled to be on this journey. It would be a huge honor and a dream to nurture a child.
We believe in the importance of your child knowing you, if that is your desire. With an ongoing connection we will share updates with you, at your comfort level. If you’d like, our desire is for you to have a relationship with your child and watch him/her grow through the years. We believe that open adoption can be like extended family. Also, this open relationship can be a help as your child comes to understand how we all came together through adoption.
Your child will be wanted, chosen, and fully accepted in our family, and you will always be a special part of our lives.
In Closing
We appreciate you taking the time to get to know us! We would be humbled by the privilege to come alongside you on this journey. Our desire is to honor you and your hopes for your child. If you would like, we are open to sharing in a relationship with you. We are committed to pictures, updates, and even occasional visits as your child grows. We will always respect you and your decisions. We will continue to pray for God's peace for you and your child. Thank you again for considering us.
Love,
Chad and Abby
