Hi – we’re so glad you’re here, taking the time to learn about us! We hope you enjoy reading about our story and looking through our pictures. We have so much love, laughter, and adventure in our lives and we are so excited to share it all with your child. We can’t wait to make memories together, teach him or her new things, create fun crafts, play games and different sports, to invest in their interests and hobbies. We are open to letters, pictures, and visits at your comfort level. We’re praying for you and your peace of mind as you make your adoption plan.
Our Life
A Little Background: We met back in June of 2017 through a mutual friend and started dating long-distance while Taylor finished college. In May of 2018, we got engaged, and a short three months later, we were married! Since then, we’ve added our dog Red (the sweetest red Labrador) to the family and moved into our dream location home!
Some things we like to do: We love being at/on the lake, hiking in the woods, playing different sports, exploring new places, golfing, and spending time with friends and family. We also love traveling, exploring the world, trying new food, learning about different cultures, and meeting people from all over the world. We’ve intentionally dedicated time to this each year, and it’s something we look forward to experiencing with our children someday! (We’ve traveled to 22 different states and taken three trips to Mexico together)
Things we can’t wait to do with your child: On warm days – spending time outside playing catch, taking them to the lake to swim, going on bike rides, four-wheeling in the woods, walking to grandma and grandpa’s house. On colder days – doing puzzles and arts & crafts, playing games in the snow, building forts, and cozying up by the fire while reading.
Meet Chad
CHAD is easy-going, humble, hard-working, and has a great sense of humor. Chad enjoys doing yard work outside, keeping up with his fantasy football team, going to the gym, playing recreational sports, and listening to various different podcasts and audiobooks. Chad has always felt that his calling was to be a dad and I know he will be a wonderful one!
Some things Chad’s looking forward to the most about becoming a dad: having the opportunity to watch our child grow while mentoring him or her and helping shape them into the person they are meant to become. He looks forward to playing catch, teaching our child about sports, and taking them trips all over the world. Watching them experience new things and guiding them through the challenges and successes that life brings.
Meet Taylor
TAYLOR is patient, compassionate, thoughtful, and fun-loving. Taylor enjoys board games and puzzles, playing and coaching volleyball, beating Chad at mini-golf, photography, and anything that uses her design skills. She also enjoys watching a good movie and spending time with friends and their kids. Taylor adores kids. Whenever they’re in the room, she immediately gravitates toward them and always knows how to make them laugh.
Some things Taylor’s looking forward to the most about becoming a mom: playing games, doing puzzles, watching animated movies, and spending time together just having fun and laughing with our child. She’s excited to teach him or her new things, cook & bake together, read stories to them, and find new parks to explore. She looks forward to watching our child grow, hit new milestones, and be their biggest cheerleader.
Our Home in Minnesota
Our house is in our dream location, and it’s the most fun and cozy house – it was originally a yurt before the additions were made. We are only a minute away from Chad’s parents and the lake they live on. We also have hundreds of acres of public land right at our fingertips that are great for walking/hiking, skiing, four-wheeling, and many other activities. We’ve loved every minute that we’ve been in this house. Our home already has a special room saved with a crib waiting for our child!
We have an alpine area being built across the street within the next couple of years that’ll offer skiing, snowboarding, tubing, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and hiking! We look forward to it opening and taking our child there in the winter.
Meet the Fam
Family is very important to us and, not only do we love spending time with them whenever we get the chance, but they also make up our biggest support system. They’re the ones who have shaped us into who we are today and they can’t wait for us to grow our family through adoption!
Taylor has 1 brother while Chad has 2 sisters and, between us, we have 2 nephews (with another on the way) and a niece! We love spending time with them when the family gets together, and they are so excited to welcome a new playmate into the fun!
Our parents are thrilled for us to adopt and look forward to spending time with their next grandchild.
Our Promise to You
As our promise, we want you to know that we will always be open and honest with your child about their adoption story. They will always know about your immense love for them. We promise to be here to walk with you through this entire process – whatever that may look like. We’re here to hear your desires, and we promise to always do our best to accommodate them.
We promise to love your child unconditionally and always create a loving, safe, healthy, and fun home. We promise to provide them with the tools to think for themselves and have views that align with their ethics and their morals.

More About Our Family
Our Faith
Growing up, our parents taught us about God and encouraged us to build relationships with Him. We both accepted Christ as our Savior at a young age, shaping who we are as individuals and as a couple. We both believe it is important to constantly work to be better people, a better husband and wife, and better Christians. Our faith is the foundation of who we are as a couple and individuals. We realize this is not the same story for everyone, and we honor and respect differing views on religion.
Our Values
We place God and family above all else. This has been passed down from generation to generation in our families, leading to strong family dynamics. We look forward to passing this on to our child and giving him or her the support needed to excel at whatever they love. Whether they are passionate about sports, music, or academics, we will support them in any way we can. We want to help our child to grow up able to think for themself and have views that align with their ethics and morals. Our goal as parents will be to ensure our child knows they are loved and protected while helping them develop the skills they will need to become happy and self-sufficient as they grow through the years.
Our Community
Growing up in the land of 10,000 lakes, you learn to love the water and all the activities that go along with it. We’re fortunate enough to live in a town that is centered around a huge lake and has many smaller ones around it. A lot of our free time is spent at the lake, but if we’re not on the water, our community also has many other activities to offer. One is a huge recreational mountain that hosts bike trails, walking trails, and a swimming hole. Other ongoing activities in our community are sporting events, plays at our local theater, and concerts of every size. And our district always offers opportunities to take a class and learn something new.
Why We're Adopting
We’ve talked about wanting to adopt from the very beginning. Although we did struggle with infertility, adoption was never a backup plan. Adoption was always going to be a part of our story! It's been very rewarding to see how God's been working in the details. We're so excited to become parents and share our love with your child!
In Closing
Thank you so much for considering us and taking the time to read a little bit about us! It means the world to us. We want to take a minute to let you know that we're praying for you throughout this journey. We hope our website brings you peace in making your adoption plan.
Your child will be loved and cherished daily in our home. We will be honest and open with him/her about their adoption story and the woman who gave them life. We will always speak highly of you in our home and ensure they grow up knowing how much you love them. We will prioritize making memories together, teaching them new things, creating fun crafts, playing games and different sports, and investing in their interests and hobbies. And we will always encourage them to follow their dreams and pursue what they feel gives them purpose.
