Watch Our Video

Hello! We are excited to become first-time parents through open adoption. We value family, faith, and learning and look forward to sharing our love for traveling and being outdoors with our child. We met in college at an ROTC event and have been together ever since. For many years it’s been our dream and prayer to be able to raise a child together. We’d love to get to know you through this process and thank you for considering us as adoptive parents!

About Us

We are college sweethearts and have been married for 13 years. We believe in honesty and hard work, doing what is right, loving others, and learning from our mistakes. Our belief in God and our Catholic faith are our moral compass. Adoption has been on our hearts for a few years now after experiencing multiple miscarriages, we look forward to growing our family through adoption.

Things we enjoy doing together:
• Traveling to explore the food and history in different places (most recently we went to Korea, England & Scotland!)
• Hiking & bird watching
• Everyday tasks (chores, tending to our animals, ending each day with a good meal)
• Relaxing with popcorn & our favorite show

About Andrea

According to Craig: Andrea is dedicated, brilliant, loving, selfless, and thoughtful. Her presence and bubbly personality are noticed by others. She is always thinking of others, from the cards she sends to friends to helping those less fortunate. This strong drive to care for others will make her a great mom. I always feel happier and smarter after talks with Andrea. She loves to learn, especially about world cultures and languages. I can imagine her chatting with our child about the wonders of the world while making cookies in the kitchen.

A few things Andrea enjoys:
• Cooking & baking (it’s her love language!)
• Coffee, tea, and chocolate
• Reading
• Handwritten cards & letters
• Volunteering/Mentoring

About Craig

According to Andrea: Craig is devoted, reliable, goofy, responsible, and intelligent. He is my biggest cheerleader and makes me feel safe and at ease. He is the best nerd! He always has some type of project going on whether it is with computers, cars, or whatever. He’s always figuring out how to put things together to make them work. Craig is going to be such a fun father and I can’t wait to see our child build and create things with him.

A few things Craig enjoys:
• Building and fixing cars & computers
• Hiking at national parks
• Working in the yard
• Researching & planning
• Andrea’s Food!

Our Home in Georgia

We live in a spacious 4-bedroom home on 10 acres in a beautiful town in Georgia with many lakes and a river. We have a big side yard that is fenced in and perfect for a swing set. Most of our property is wooded, and we enjoy the wildlife and privacy. We love that we live in a rural area, yet are within minutes of the conveniences of a city. Our neighborhood is family-friendly and has a lot of kids. We love to explore the local farmers markets and small businesses-we even get our milk from a dairy farm a few miles away! We are close to many parks, great schools, and our church.

Our Family

Our extended family is a diverse mix of loving people who enjoy time together. Craig comes from a big family and Andrea comes from a small family. We have family all up and down the coast, so we are always within a day’s drive of one of our relatives. It’s important to us to stay connected with our family throughout the year. We love getting time to play with our 5 nieces and nephews! Everyone has been excited and supportive of our plans to adopt, and they would love to welcome another child into our Disney trips and family fun.

Our Promise

We promise to love and care for your child and make sure that he or she has the best life possible. We promise to encourage him or her to be the best person they can be and to know the love of Christ. We will do everything possible to keep your child safe, healthy, happy, and surrounded with the love of our families. We will create a place where they can explore and learn in a safe environment. We promise to love and laugh together, and to be there for him or her through anything. Education is important to us as well, and we will provide opportunities for your child to have an excellent education.

As parents, we will make sure your child will always know their story and how we came together through adoption. We deeply respect your role in your child’s life and promise to regard you as a part of our family. We look forward to keeping in touch with you and hearing what kind of contact you’d be comfortable having with us after the adoption.

Thank you for considering us as adoptive parents for your child! We’d love to talk with you. To connect with us, please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

With love, Craig & Andrea

More About Our Family

Fun Facts About Us

We were both in the military when we met. Andrea was an Air Force officer before she became an attorney, and Craig is still an officer in the U.S. Army.

Andrea can speak 5 languages and is learning a sixth! Currently she can speak in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, and Russian. Right now we're BOTH learning Korean. She also likes to collect stickers.

Craig names his cars and is currently restoring a Mini Cooper that he named Nigel. He can speak some Spanish too. (We both love learning languages!)

Our Pets

We love animals and living with pets! Currently, we have our cat, Tatiana. She is a very laidback and patient cat who gets along with adults, kids, and dogs! She even comes to the door when we get home and sits for treats. We love dogs too and for most of our relationship we had a sweet Boston Terrier, named Cinnamon. We hope to add another dog to our household again in the future. We also have 10 chickens who each have their own unique personalities! The chickens are friendly and like to take snacks from our hand or hop onto our laps.

Things our family enjoys doing together...

• Group vacations to Walt Disney World or camping trips
• Big holiday parties
• Barbecues at each other’s homes
• Traveling to visit each other

Plans for Childcare

Once we return to work, we plan on having a part-time day nanny. Andrea works from home and we would like for our child to have one-on-one, loving, and educational care at home while she’s working. Our parents are also excited to help with childcare when needed.
