Hi there! We are Dane and Caroline, a young couple from Indiana excited to welcome our first child through adoption. We’ve been happily married for 3 years and have shared over 10 wonderful years together. We truly love doing life side-by-side, and we can’t wait to go on this journey as a family. Our home is always filled with love, laughter, and the support of our close-knit families. We look forward to getting to know you and sharing this journey together through an open adoption!
Our Story
We first met in our church youth group, and it didn’t take long for a deep friendship to grow into a high school romance. As high school sweethearts, we’ve had a front-row seat to each other’s growth, cheering each other on into the people we are today. Our relationship is built on a firm, Christ-centered foundation, and we have long dreamed of growing our family.
Caroline has had a heart for adoption ever since she was a little girl, and as we grew together, that dream naturally became a shared calling for both of us. We believe with all our hearts that love is what truly makes a family. We are so incredibly grateful that God has led us to adoption, and we cannot wait to share the abundant love, security, and joy in our hearts with a child. Our hope is to build a home where a child always feels unconditionally loved, deeply encouraged, and fully supported to pursue their dreams to the fullest.

About Caroline
Dane says: Caroline is the ideal person you want in your corner. She is supportive, considerate, and caring. Every day she puts others’ needs before her own, whether it is her family, friends, or the students in her classroom. Caroline loves spending quality time with those that she loves, but also values her time alone when working on a puzzle or curling up with a good book. When Caroline puts her mind to something, she does not give up until she meets her goal.

About Dane
Caroline says: Dane is truly the rock of our home. He is compassionate, loyal, and the kind of dependable person everyone knows they can count on. He has a servant’s heart, constantly putting others before himself and checking in on friends and family just to let them know he’s thinking of them. Dane loves to golf, watch sports, and spend time with his extended family. Dane is also incredibly intelligent, whether it’s excelling at his work, analyzing sports, or sharing a perfectly timed random fact. On any given fall weekend, you can find him watching football and effortlessly recalling just about any sports stat you could ask for!
Why he will be an amazing dad:
- He’s the Ultimate Fun Uncle: He loves nothing more than getting down on the floor to play with our niece and nephews, matching their energy completely.
- Family Comes First: He works hard but always makes sure his family is his absolute top priority.
- Faith-Led: He keeps his life firmly Christ-centered, leading our family with grace and humility.
- Sense of Humor: He is genuinely funny and never takes himself too seriously. He is always willing to embarrass himself just to bring a smile to someone’s face.
Our Family
Family means everything to us, and we are incredibly blessed to be surrounded by a close-knit, loving support system. Both of our families live nearby in Indiana, which means our lives are filled with frequent get-togethers, shared meals, and beautiful traditions.
A child in our home will grow up with the absolute best village. They will be showered with love by incredible grandparents, cheered on by proud aunts and uncles, and will have an automatic crew of built-in best friends in our sweet nieces and nephews. Our family is already overjoyed and praying for this baby, and they truly cannot wait to welcome a new little one into the fold with open arms!
Our Home in Indiana
Our home is a safe, peaceful, and joyful place where everyone feels welcome the moment they walk through the door. We live in a 2-story home that is close to many local parks, the zoo, and the children’s museum.
A few things we love about our home & neighborhood:
- The Heart of the House: A cozy living space perfect for family time, reading books, and playing.
- The Backyard: A fenced-in backyard and entertainment area ready for a child to play safely and explore.
- Our Community: We live in a wonderful, safe neighborhood just blocks away from a great neighborhood park and local schools.
- The Love Inside: A home surrounded by a supportive network of family and friends who can’t wait to visit!

Caroline’s background as a professional teacher means that guidance, patience, and educational support will be woven into our everyday family life. From interactive playtime as a toddler to homework help down the road, we will always be their biggest advocates. We look forward to partnering with our local schools to give them a firm foundation, while cheering them on as they discover what they love to do.

Typical weekend with us
We enjoy a quiet weekend spent with family and friends at home. We love to spend quality time together on walks, doing house projects, or watching our favorite shows together. Our weekends always involve church and Sunday dinner with Caroline's family.
