Hi! We’re Daniel and Nicole.
We’re thrilled that you’ve taken the time to get to know about us, and we would love the opportunity to learn about you as well. We are trusting God’s plan to grow our family and unite us together through open adoption.
We have always felt drawn to adoption and knew it would be part of our story. We are excited to grow our family and cannot wait to become parents. If chosen, we promise a fun, loving, and joy-filled home for your child.
Our Story
Our story began at youth camp when we were just 17 and 18 years old. Although we did not start dating right away, we stayed in touch over the years, and two years later were reunited at a mutual friend’s wedding. What began as a chance reconnection quickly blossomed into something more, and about a year and a half later, we were married. We’ve been married for 5 years.
Our favorite ways to spend time together:

Our Home in North Carolina
As newlyweds, we dreamed of building a life together from the ground up—quite literally. After two years of marriage, we began building our home, and about a year and a half later, we moved into the place we had envisioned together. We live in a 3-bedroom farmhouse in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina, surrounded by rolling hills and open fields. The local elementary school is just 1.5 miles from our house and there are many parks and hiking trails within 15 minutes. We are grateful to be part of a close-knit community of wonderful friends and neighbors while still enjoying the peace and privacy that country living provides.
About Daniel
According to Nicole: Daniel is the steady foundation of our everyday life. One of the things I love most about Daniel is his love for the Lord and the way he leads our family so well, faithfully and prayerfully. He serves others with a caring, protective, and selfless heart, consistently putting the needs of those around him before his own.
He is adventurous, fun-loving, and often the one dreaming up new ways for us to make memories together. His sense of humor keeps me laughing and always keeps life interesting. His nieces and nephews absolutely adore him and he makes every moment with them exciting, fun, and memorable.
Daniel is also incredibly hardworking and creative. He has a remarkable ability to fix, build, or create almost anything. He loves the outdoors and enjoys hunting, fishing, farming, and gardening. Daniel is musically gifted as well. He plays both the piano and guitar beautifully and is a wonderful singer.
His character, talents, and love for others make him a blessing to everyone who knows him. I know he will love and cherish our future children and be the most amazing father. He looks forward to spending time outdoors with our future children and teaching them about farming and gardening.
About Nicole
According to Daniel: Nicole is a faithful, loving, kind, and compassionate person. She is a constant source of support in my life and encourages me every day. What I admire most about her is her selfless nature and the way she is always looking for opportunities to help, encourage, and uplift others.
Nicole adores all of our nieces and nephews and treasures every chance she gets to spend time with them. She has a nurturing heart and is often like a second mother to some of them, building meaningful relationships through her love, patience, and care.
She also enjoys a variety of hobbies that reflect her creativity and dedication. Nicole loves reading, baking and creating new recipes, staying active through workouts and walks, and spending time caring for her garden and flowers.
Nicole’s greatest quality is her love for the Lord and her steadfast faith. Through every circumstance, she remains grounded and faithful. Her character and compassion inspire those around her, and I know she will one day be a loving and devoted mother to our children. She looks forward to the everyday routine of being at home with our children and teaching them about cooking and baking.
Our Family
We are incredibly fortunate to have a strong and caring support network. Our family, friends, and church community are excited to welcome a new addition to our family, and we know our child will grow up surrounded by encouragement, kindness, and love.
Extended Family: Our families have embraced this journey with excitement and encouragement. Daniel’s family lives nearby, allowing us to spend time together regularly. Nicole’s family lives about two hours away, but we make frequent visits and typically see one another at least once a month. Our future child will have the joy of knowing and spending time with grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended relatives who are eager to share in life’s milestones and create lasting memories together.
Friends and Church Family: We are equally grateful for our close circle of friends and our church community, both of which play an important role in our lives. We gather for worship each week and are continually uplifted by their generosity, friendship, and steadfast presence. We have no doubt that they will welcome a child into our family with the same love and joy they have always shown us. We are thankful to be part of such a caring community and know our child will be nurtured by people who genuinely care for them.

More About Our Family
Our Pet
We have one dog, a Great Pyrenees named Hank. He loves attention and affection. His special trick is to stand on his back legs while getting his belly rubbed. He enjoys digging and being around farm animals. He is also a protector of those he loves. Hank is great with kids and especially enjoys playing with our nieces and nephews.
Our Faith
Our faith in the Lord shapes every aspect of our lives and serves as the foundation for the values we strive to live out each day. It influences how we treat one another, how we care for those around us, and how we approach both life’s joys and challenges. It will also shape our parenting and child-rearing. We are committed to creating a home centered on reflecting the example Jesus set for us.
Fun Family Traditions
• Every year on the Fourth of July, we spend time at the lake with some of Nicole’s family.
• On Christmas morning, we love cooking a big breakfast (eggs, biscuits & gravy, hashbrowns, & a sweet treat such as cinnamon rolls or French toast).
• Our favorite annual trip is a relaxing getaway to the coast to enjoy the beach.
• We love celebrating birthdays in our house and always find a fun or special way to make the day enjoyable for the birthday person.
A Typical Day with Us
On weekdays, we focus on making our time that we have together meaningful. Daniel works outside the home while Nicole works from home, allowing flexibility for our future family. We enjoy working out together, sharing home-cooked meals, and spending quality time together each evening.
On weekends, we balance household projects and gardening with fun outings and time with family and friends. Sundays are spent worshipping with our church family and helping lead a children’s ministry every other week.
