Aloha from Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi!

We are a loving, faith-filled couple with big hearts, strong family values, and so much love waiting to be shared with a child. Our life is full of laughter, adventure, family gatherings, beach days, traveling, and making memories with the people we love most.

We are hardworking, deeply devoted to one another, and truly believe that some of the best moments in life are the simple ones spent together. Whether we are surrounded by family and friends, cheering at a sporting event, relaxing by the ocean, or exploring somewhere new, we always find a way to have fun and enjoy the moment.

Becoming parents has been one of our greatest hopes, and we feel incredibly blessed to be on this adoption journey. We cannot wait for the day we get to share our home, our traditions, our adventures, and most importantly, our unconditional love with our child.

About Us

We were both born and raised on Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. Our story began in 2009 when we met at a mutual friend’s house and quickly became best friends. We married seven years later, and since then we have built a life filled with love, laughter, family, faith, and adventure.

When we are not working, we love spending time with family and friends, singing karaoke at home, relaxing at the beach, traveling, and cheering on the San Francisco 49ers and New York Yankees. Our love for sports also inspired us to start our own youth All-Star cheerleading program, where we are blessed to coach and mentor children as young as four years old.

After several unsuccessful fertility treatments, our journey to becoming parents led us to adoption. While the path has looked different than we once imagined, our desire to love and raise a child has only grown stronger. We dream about giving our child a life filled with love, encouragement, family traditions, adventure, and a home where they always feel safe, supported, and deeply loved.

About David

Brittany says: David is one of the hardest working and most dependable people you will ever meet. Rain or shine, he shows up for the people he loves and works hard to provide for his family. One of the things I admire most about him is that his word truly means something. If David says he is going to do something, he follows through. He also believes strongly in owning his mistakes, saying sorry when needed, and always trying to do better.

Character is very important to David, and he holds himself to a high standard when it comes to honesty, reliability, and being someone others can count on. He has a big heart, a strong sense of responsibility, and a quiet way of making the people around him feel safe and supported.

In his free time, David enjoys hiking, playing basketball, working out with friends, and spending time with family. He already talks about the simple moments he looks forward to sharing with our child, whether it is shooting hoops at the park, going for a walk, grabbing a treat, or spending an afternoon shopping together. He is excited for the everyday moments of fatherhood just as much as the big ones.

About Brittany

David says: Brittany has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know. She is always looking for ways to take care of the people around her, whether that means helping a friend plan a special event, finding a way to support an athlete who needs cheer shoes, or leaving a little note in my lunch just to remind me that my hard work is seen and appreciated.

She has always had a natural love for children and animals, especially cats and dogs. Coaching is more than a job or hobby for Brittany; it is truly part of who she is. She believes that caring for an athlete does not end when practice is over. She celebrates their successes, helps them through hard days, and loves them like family. In many ways, she becomes a second mom to the kids she coaches.

When she has free time, Brittany loves relaxing and swimming at the beach, hiking, or simply staying home in the air conditioning surrounded by all of our animals while watching a good show.

What excites her most about becoming a mom are the everyday moments. I can already picture her holding our child while she coaches, having dance parties with the cheerleaders with our little one right in the middle of the floor, and making ordinary days feel special. Brittany wants to experience life fully with our child, create memories together, and never take a single day of motherhood for granted.

Our Loving Family

Our big, loud, wonderful family is what makes us who we are. We take pride in having everyone gather at our house or the beach. We love hanging with family because it always leads to a group karaoke session, which we love!

We share our home with Brittany’s mom. You can find the three of us having dinner every night together at the dinner table, laughing and talking about our day. She speaks fluent Spanish and English and is an excellent cook. Brittany’s dad is a local pastor on the island of Hawaii, so we have a built-in Bible translator at our family gatherings. We find joy in asking questions about the Bible and getting clarity about our faith.

Our Home in Hawaii

We recently became homeowners to David’s childhood home. It’s a big, beautiful, 2-story home that has four bedrooms. It has a large yard and several potted plants. Our yard has a lot of running room and sunbathing spots for our dog, Bear. Bear is very smart and full of tricks; he will pretty much do anything for a treat. Our cat, Cleo, thinks she is the boss of our family. She likes to sit near you. All of our animals are good with kids.

Our neighborhood is loud and fun, full of kids playing. David grew up here, so we know each neighbor very well and we look forward to growing our family here.
