Hi! Thank you for taking time to learn more about me. Adoption has been in my prayers for a long time, and I am so excited to become a mom and welcome a baby into my family.

I find joy when spending time with my family and friends, cheering on DC sports and the Tar Heels, and traveling (especially to Disney and the beach). Bringing a baby into my life means unconditional love. It means raising them in faith.

I’m open to photos, letters, and planned visits to the extent you are comfortable. I hope to get to know you and learn more about the life you hope for your baby.

About Me

I am a fun-loving and enthusiastic person and have always wanted to be a mom. I am extremely loyal to my family and friends and spend my time cultivating those relationships.

I am a product of strong parents who instilled in me an incredible faith in God and devotion to the Virgin Mary.

I have spent my entire career working in education and currently work at a local university. I am fortunate to watch students develop and grow throughout high school and college, and I absolutely love my job.

The hope of welcoming a baby into my life brings me so much joy, and I am excited to see what the future brings.

My Family

I come from a close-knit family. My parents and sister live in North Carolina, and we visit each other frequently. We are Cuban and Southern and live a great blend of both cultures. Every holiday includes black beans AND macaroni and cheese!

I live near my aunt, uncle, and cousins and spend a lot of time with them over family dinners, game nights, and birthday celebrations.

My entire family is so supportive of adoption and thrilled to welcome a child into our circle.

My Home in Virginia

I absolutely love my neighborhood! I live in a suburb of Washington, D.C. in a house ready to welcome a child. The neighborhood is surrounded by pools and playgrounds. Around every corner are children riding bikes and playing outside. It’s safe and welcoming. It’s also surrounded by amazing schools, a church within walking distance, and museums and history close by.

I own a cozy condo that I love to decorate for holidays. I have a bedroom ready to share with the baby for the first year, along with space for toys and lots of love.

I can walk to a town center to go out to eat, go to the grocery store, and even go to the movies. My best friends live in my neighborhood, and we spend a lot of time together!

My Lifestyle

My Catholic faith guides my every decision. I attend Mass weekly and am involved in my parish. I am thrilled at the idea of praying with a child and teaching them about my faith.

I also believe in the immense power of education. I have spent my entire career in education and will share my values with my child from the time they are a baby through adulthood.

Together we will play outside, go on walks, spend time with family, and play games. I will treasure every moment whether it’s a celebration or a simple daily activity.

Hobbies and Interests

I like to stay active, whether it’s a long walk or playing tennis or pickleball with friends.

I enjoy a good meal and great conversation with my loved ones.

I like pop culture, music, movies, and keeping up with new trends.

I am a life-long learner who is always doing research, asking questions, and taking in the world around me.

My Promise

I will raise a child with an abundance of devotion and love. While I anticipate the many big moments like birthdays and vacations, I will rejoice in the daily life of raising a child. I promise to find joy in getting up in the middle of the night, in helping with homework, and in correcting.

I will teach my child about adoption, their journey to me, and, most importantly, about their birth mother. I yearn to learn more about you and share that with a child as they grow up.

I am full of hope for me as a mom and for your child, as together we navigate life.

My love and prayers will be with you forever. I’d love to talk or answer any of your questions. Please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

More About My Family

Family Traditions

My sister and I visit Disney World every year, and I travel to Hilton Head Island, SC each summer.

All generations of my family spend New Years Eve together ringing in the new year.

I celebrate EVERYTHING! Birthdays, good days, bad days, small wins, big projects, you name it!

I have Sunday dinner with my Cuban extended family at least once a month.

What Kind of Mom I Will Be

I am a consistent person, so I imagine myself being a steady mom with calm reactions.

I will instill in my child that they are made in God's image and perfect just the way they are! I will provide them with unconditional love and confidence so they can conquer the world. I received this from my mom, which I believe has inspired me to adopt.

My Friends Would Say I Am
