Hey! We are Guido and Heidi, and we have been together for about 12 years, married for almost 9 years. We have had quite the journey and are so excited about this next adventure God is taking us on with adoption. We love to travel, spend time outdoors with our dog, and hang out with family.
We are so eager to add a child into our home and our lives and cannot wait to share our families, our hobbies, and our life with a little one! After we adopt, Heidi will be a full-time stay-at-home parent and is excited to be stepping into the new role of motherhood. Thank you for considering us, and we look forward to sharing this adventure with you.
About Us
We initially met on a mission trip with our church’s high school youth group in 2004, but then life took us in different directions. We met again in 2012 at church following Heidi’s college graduation, and began dating shortly after that. We have been married since 2016 and have one dog named Paisley. We love to spend time outdoors, whether that is going to the lake, working in the yard, hiking, or camping. We also spend a lot of time with family and friends, and we love to travel to new places as a family (Paisley included). We love doing new things and can’t wait to include a child into the mix!
We are both currently working, but once we have a child, Heidi will be a stay-at-home parent for some time. We regularly attend church, and we love the community it has provided. Our family, friends, and church family all share our excitement in our adoption journey. We will teach our future children to know God, and love them unconditionally.
We have always discussed adoption as a way to grow our family, but we feel that now is the time that God has had planned for us. We are open to communication with you and your family if that is something that you desire. We would love to keep you updated! Our child will always know their adoption story, and we will cultivate an environment of trust for ongoing communication as needed.
My Husband, Guido
According to Heidi: Very early on in our dating relationship, Guido told me that his biggest aspirations were to become a husband and a father. He is a very hard worker, the head of the household, and very loyal. He is kind, honest, and generous. He is very close with his family, and he always has the fondest memories of growing up. We typically hold more traditional roles in our home, and he takes care of the yard and finances, which I am so grateful for. He has been such a supportive husband throughout our entire relationship, and I cannot wait to see him as a dad. He enjoys fishing, golfing, paddle boarding, and just doing anything active in nature, and he is so excited to teach our little one how to do these things as well.
My Wife, Heidi
According to Guido: Heidi is one of the most loving people that I have ever met. Her heart for a family is one of the main reasons that I fell in love with her. Heidi has shown how disciplined she is as an individual, as she completed her doctorate and is currently a specialist in her field of Physical Therapy. Heidi has expressed her desire to be a stay-at-home mom, which I fully support and believe in. Heidi is extremely outgoing and has a heart for service. Heidi loves hosting people in our home and also being an aunt to our nephews and niece. Being honest, Heidi is the most popular aunt due to her loving personality and positive influence in their lives. She loves to snowboard, hike, and paddle board at the lake, and can’t wait to teach a little one about her hobbies as well.
Our Family
Guido is one of 4 siblings, all who live within driving distance of our home. Most of his side of the family lives in the same town, and there is no shortage of family gatherings. We have 4 nephews and 1 niece, and we love spending time with them. They can’t wait for a baby to come into our home! Our Saturday mornings are usually spent watching them play whatever sport they are in at the time. We love going to cheer them on!
Heidi is an only child, so the family gatherings are a little smaller, but often just as loud and fun. Her parents don’t live in the same town, but they visit often. They are so excited to become grandparents!
We love to spend holidays together, share meals, play games, and go on trips together. Some of our favorite memories are meeting up with some extended family and going to a San Francisco Giants baseball game.
We are very blessed to have close-knit families, and it is very important that our child has a village, including family, who will teach them skills, know the love of Jesus, and know the love of family.
Our Home in California
We bought our house in 2018 and have been making it into our home ever since. We fell in love with the area and the quiet cul-de-sac that it sits on. We live within walking distance of an amazing park with a great play structure. We have a 3-bedroom home and a big, fenced backyard for our future child to run around and play. We have a space for gardening that Heidi has been working on, and large olive trees. Part of our garage is our home gym, which is utilized almost daily by at least one of us. We have been told many times how cozy our home is, and we love hosting friends and family. We are so blessed to have our home, and we have prayed that God could use it to bring people together and that they would feel the love of God when they enter it.

More About Our Family
The Area We Live In
We live near two major lakes, a beautiful river, and mountains surround us. As mentioned above, we love being outdoors, and the area we live in has endless activities for us to enjoy and share with our future child. We are within driving distance to the beach, lakes, rivers, and mountains for us to explore.
Our Dog, Paisley
We have a 5-year-old labradoodle named Paisley. We love taking her everywhere we can, on trips with us, and running with us. She is such an adventurous pup, and she loves being off leash in the woods and snow. She loves kids! Our young nephews love to chase her around and she loves playing keep away.
Importance of Education
Education is very important to us, and we have many school options in our area. Our goal is to be able to provide a private school education, especially for the early elementary years. We would love for our child to be taught biblical principles, and to make sure the families, other children, and teachers/staff all have a heart for the Lord, and similar values. We promise to make education a priority, and cultivate an environment of learning at home as well.
Family Wish List
1. We would love travel as a family to the areas of Italy where Guido's distant relatives were from. We went to Italy for our honeymoon and would love to go back someday.
2. We would love to eventually own a home with more property to be able to have more pets (especially a mini cow), a large space for gardening, and a pool.
3. We would love to do a family road trip up and down the Eastern United States to see all of the fall foliage, and all of the unique historical landmarks.
4. We would love to travel to New York City at Christmas time to see all of the decorations and hopefully snow!
In Closing
