Watch Our Video

Hi from Arkansas! We met on a blind date through a mutual friend and have been married over 7 years. We’ve always wanted to become parents and experienced infertility as we tried to build our family. Our story has led us to adoption and we’re so excited about adopting our first child! We would love to keep an open adoption with you and share letters, photos, or visits, if you would like.

We value faith, family, and friendships and want to pass down our heart for loving others, traveling, and exploring nature. Holly would love to share her love of reading with a child and Jay would love to share his love of building things. It would be an honor to get to know you and the hopes you have for your child’s future too!

About Us

As a couple we love weekend road trips, national parks, and Disney World. We have so much fun together doing just about anything.

Things we love to do together:
• Hike in state or national parks
• Take the boat out on different lakes
• Modernize old furniture
• Find treasure with our metal detector
• Fishing & swimming
• Attend church
• Amusement parks
• Walk our dogs

About Holly

I am a children’s speech pathologist working at our local kindergarten center.

According to Jay: Holly is sweet and loves to laugh! She has a generous heart and is genuinely caring. Holly is loving, patient, and compassionate with children and will make a great mom.

Holly enjoys:
• Photography
• Reading
• Relaxing in the hammock
• Boating

About Jay

I am a millwright who repairs and upgrades industrial machinery at a wood products plant.

According to Holly: Jay is humble, kind, patient, and hardworking. He’s always looking for ways to help others and make others laugh. He can’t wait to build a playhouse or swing set for our child. He will be a fun, involved dad!

Jay enjoys:
• Working in the yard
• Furniture projects
• Fishing
• Exploring nature parks

Our Home in Arkansas

Living in Arkansas is great for our nature-loving hearts! We love its closeness to parks and places for enjoying the outdoors. Our town is relatively small, with local state parks just blocks from our house. We also love that our child will have 2 cousins living just down the street. We’ve already set up a nursery in an ocean theme (we both love the beach!), including photographs that Holly took of beaches we’ve visited.

Highlights about our home:
• Big living room and a bonus room we’d love to make into a playroom
• Safe neighborhood with sidewalks and bike paths, perfect for family walks with our dogs
• Fenced-in backyard with a swimming pool

Our Family

Jay has a small family who all live locally. Holly comes from a big family and most of her relatives live in Louisiana and Ohio. We love time with our nieces, who live on our street, and Holly’s mom, a recently retired teacher who lives nearby, is excited to help us with childcare when Holly has to go back to work. Time with our family is important to us, whether we see them often because they live close, or we get to travel for visits.

Adoption in our family: Everyone is excited about our plans to adopt, especially because we’ve seen how positive and loving it can be. Holly has an uncle and a cousin who were adopted and their birth families still keep in touch with our family.

Our Promise

Thank you for considering us as you make a plan for your child’s future. Your child will always be able to count on us being there for him or her. Education is important to both of us and we want to provide opportunities for schooling that meets our child’s needs and interests. As parents we will do whatever we can to help him or her pursue personal goals and strengths. We promise to raise your child to know how loved he or she is, by us and you, and we will always talk about you and your child’s adoption story with love and respect.

We are committed to staying in contact with you, if you choose, and welcome an open adoption where we share updates throughout your child’s life. We want to honor your comfort level and hope to talk with you about what you picture with our connection through adoption.

We’d love to talk or answer any of your questions! Just call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

Thoughtfully, Jay & Holly
