Watch Our Video
Hi there from Pennsylvania! We are Jesse and Danielle, and we are so honored to be choosing adoption again to grow our family. Danielle loves being a stay-at-home mom and Jesse enjoys the flexibility his job gives to work from home once a week. We are ready to embrace a new little baby into our hearts and home and share our lives together. We look forward to getting to know you and would invite you into your child’s life through keeping in contact, sharing pictures, and when possible, sharing visits together.
About Us
We have been married for 11 years; we met playing frisbee through a church group in our early 20s. Quality time is our love language–we really enjoy doing all types of activities together. When we are all home and not doing chores as a family, we love to play board games, go for walks, watch movies, and spend time making delicious meals. We both have a good sense of humor and love to laugh. We also lean on each other for support. Faith is a very important part of our life–we pray together as a family, we are actively involved in our church, and we study the Bible together.
Our journey with infertility and a miscarriage has brought us to a place of choosing adoption to grow our family. Our first adoption brought us to our now 2-year-old son, Luke, who is with us in all our adventures. We look forward to including our next child in all our adventures as well.
About Danielle
Jesse says: Danielle is the most caring person I know. She is always thinking about ways to teach and engage our son, Luke, with imaginary play, reading lots of books, and many outdoor adventures. She is a stay-at-home mom, but works a few hours a week for the children’s ministry at the church we attend and is allowed to bring Luke with her to work. Her passion is for teaching children about the love of Jesus in Sunday school, and spending quality time with those closest to her. Some hobbies she enjoys are crocheting, going on outdoor activities like biking and hiking, cooking, and arts and crafts. Danielle looks forward to teaching our future child how to be a caring, generous, and courageous person, and all about the love and grace of Jesus. She loves to make everyday tasks fun and looks forward to sharing with our next child the meaningful little moments in life together, like splashing in the water as they do dishes and making messes while they bake and cook.
About Jesse
Danielle says: Jesse is fun and creative–he keeps our lives exciting! He loves his job as a lead designer at a cabinet shop; it provides flexibility for him to work from home at least once a week. He enjoys many hobbies including playing guitar and piano, woodworking, and grilling/baking. I love how creative Jesse is! He has made most of the furniture in our house, and it makes our home cozy and uniquely ours. Jesse has a passion for music–he plays guitar on the worship team at our church and will often fill our house with fun tunes using a favorite album in his record player. He looks forward to sharing his love for music with another child, and hopes to one day teach them how to play piano. We know dinner will be delicious when Jesse grills it up, and nothing beats Saturday breakfasts together with his famous homemade sourdough bagels. Jesse looks forward to sharing all of his hobbies with our next child.
Our Family
Our Son: Luke is our kind, fun, and energetic 2-year-old who we adopted at birth. He loves helping Danielle make food in the kitchen and helping Jesse mow the lawn outside. Some of Luke’s favorite toys are his construction vehicles and play kitchen. His favorite things to do are to ride his bike or scooter around the neighborhood and visit the local park, animal shelter, and library.
Our Extended Family: Danielle’s family lives a little over 2 hours away, and Jesse’s family lives about an hour and a half away. We love visiting with our family and being able to spend weekends at their houses. It is always fun to see how excited Luke is when he gets to be with his grandparents. We have older siblings who are amazing uncles and aunts to Luke. We have 8 nieces and nephews. Luke always has someone to play with when we visit family. Our family can’t wait to have a new baby to snuggle and love.
We have made really good friends (like family) within our church and community, and we love to get together with them and their kids. We live life together with our friends–sharing meals, camping adventures, and good fellowship.
Home Sweet Home in Pennsylvania
We live in a small town with a big personality. Our home has a small fenced-in backyard with room for inviting friends over for an outdoor picnic. We love that we are within walking distance to a newly built park, with a sprawling grassy field where we can throw a football around and enjoy being in nature. Only a block from the park is our local library, where Danielle frequently goes with Luke during the day to enjoy some good books and play time. Because Danielle is a stay-at-home mom, she has the opportunity to be involved in many of the programs our library has to offer for children. Although we do not have any pets, Luke and Danielle often walk to the local animal shelter, where we love to spend time cuddling with the cats and kittens. We look forward to sharing all of the fun and educational opportunities our town has to offer with our next child.
Our Promise to You
We promise to love and cherish your child with our whole hearts. We will give them the best of ourselves. We promise to walk through all the ups and downs of this life with them, laugh with them, cry with them, and be there for them in all the moments in between. They will grow up knowing who you are, and that they are loved by many. We will give your child a good education and share the love of God with them. We look forward to all the fun adventures we will share with your child. We promise to keep in contact with you through pictures, phone calls, messages, and scheduled visits.
We’d love to talk or answer any of your questions. Please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

Why We're Adopting
We have a desire to continue to grow our family--we love being parents! Infertility and miscarriage are a part of our journey to becoming parents, but are not the only reason we are choosing adoption. Through adopting our son Luke, we saw how beautiful and hopeful open adoption can be for everyone involved in the process.
We also know how important siblings can be. We both have siblings, and the bond that can form and stay with siblings throughout their lives is something we would love our children to have. Open adoption is important to us; your child will grow up knowing where they came from and how deeply they are loved.
5 Things We Love on a Weekend
1. Being home together as a family and playing with our son
2. Visiting grandparents
3. Enjoying our hobbies--Danielle loves to curl up under a blanket in the winter and crochet; Jesse likes to work on a project in the basement or sit and read a book
4. Watching movies as a family
5. Seeing our church family on Sunday during our church service
5 Things We Love About Where We Live
1. We know many of our neighbors.
2. We live within walking distance to a park, a library, and an animal shelter.
3. There is a lot of different cultural and ethnic restaurant choices nearby.
4. We live right outside of 2 tourist areas, and we get the benefits of enjoying many fun things to do like going to an amusement park and seeing Amish farmlands.
5. We live within walking distance to close friends.
In Closing
We have so much love in our hearts to give, and we are eagerly waiting in anticipation to welcome in a beautiful little baby into our hearts and home. We look forward to welcoming you into our hearts as well. We can't wait to grow together as a family, spending quality time together enjoying laughs, meals, adventures, and even the tears that life brings. We promise to raise your child up in love, caring for their every need, and sharing the love of Christ with them, while teaching them about our heavenly Father. We hope to have an open adoption with you, welcoming you into your child's life by sending pictures, and when possible, scheduling times to visit with you.
