Watch Our Video

Hi! We are Joe and Jackie, a young, active, Catholic couple who is so excited to adopt our first child! Having come from large and loving families, we have always wanted to have our own children and as parents share the same love, faith, and upbringing that we were given. As first-time parents, we’d look forward to sharing our faith, our big circle of supportive (and fun!) family and friends, traditions and celebrations, road trips together, and creating many memories as a family. Thank you for considering us as adoptive parents for your little one!

About Us

How we met, as told by Jackie: We met during our senior year in high school and became friends when Joe’s brother started dating my sister! We all hung out together and our own connection developed through our siblings. Soon we were best friends, though we didn’t officially date until a couple of years after graduation.

Together we enjoy:

  • Reading/audiobooks
  • Playing sports
  • Dancing
  • Playing board games
  • Traveling to the beach or mountains
  • Enjoying a slow, relaxing Sunday spending time together after a long week

Meet Jackie

According to Joe: Jackie is a loving and loyal woman. Her sweet character and love for children are what stand out about her most. Her devotion and loyalty as a wife and friend are strong. She will be a mother that gives her whole heart to her child in caring for them, playing with them, loving them, and nurturing them.

Jackie’s Hobbies:

  • Taking care of or decorating our home
  • Baking & cooking healthy meals or treats (there’s always a baked good in the oven!)
  • Playing the piano
  • Playing sports with Joe
  • Spending time with family
  • Browse local antique & thrift stores
  • Relaxing evenings reading/listening to a book or watching a movie

Meet Joe

According to Jackie: Joe is one of those people that gets along with everyone he meets. He’s caring, outgoing, and fun to be around. He will take any opportunity to play a sport or boardgame. What I love most about Joe is how much he loves family and his sacrificial love. He’s going to be the type of dad who gets on the floor to play, takes the kids to ride their bikes, play catch outside, or take them to get a sweet treat. He also loves teaching (especially about our Faith) and is always striving to be a better person every day for his future child.

Joe enjoys:

  • Being active in sports
  • Playing boardgames with groups
  • Spending time with family
  • Campfires with friends (& s’mores!)
  • Profound & fun discussions with people
  • Grilling some good burgers!

Our Family

Our family and friends are very supportive of our hopes to adopt. Our child will have 39 cousins to play with! We both come from big families; Joe is one of 9 kids and Jackie is one of 7. Two of Joe’s siblings and his parents live near us. Jackie’s hometown is only a short drive away and we travel there often to see her family, and the rest of Joe’s siblings as well. Most of our siblings are married with their own children, who are all very fun and creative! We have great relationships with both sides of our family, and they get along with each other too and have even spent holidays all together (so big and so fun!).

Our Home in Texas

We live in the big state of Texas where we both grew up. Our house is in a quiet neighborhood in a small town where everyone knows everyone. There’s a big room that we are excited to decorate for the baby when we know more about him or her. The backyard is big and open, perfect for playing and exploring. We absolutely love this town because it’s where Joe grew up and it’s very safe and family oriented. There are parks nearby and a zoo just a short drive away. Our neighborhood is peaceful, and we love taking evening walks on the streets or at one of the parks. We are even able to walk to Joe’s parents’ house, which is around the corner from us. Just down the street are antique shops, boutiques, and an ice cream shop! Everything in this town is within walking distance, including family!

Our Promise

We promise to give your child the love, care, and upbringing they will need to get them through their life. As parents, we know that we will have the responsibility of being the first teachers of our child in every aspect of life; we will be teachers not only in what we say, but in what we do. We want our example to be a positive influence they can trust. We will always be there to support and guide him or her through each stage of their life, and do so with the love, guidance, and support that they need to grow in God’s plan for their life. We’ll encourage them to make the most of their education and opportunities to learn from life lessons and faith.

Your child will grow up knowing their story and how we became a family through adoption. You will always hold a special place in our hearts and prayers. We can imagine how much is going into your decision and we have a deep respect for all that you’re going through for your child. We would be very excited and ready to welcome your child into our family! If you want an open adoption, we’d be happy to share photos and yearly visits as your child grows up. May God bless you and be with you always. We’d love to talk or answer any of your questions: call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

With Love, Joe and Jackie

More About Our Family

Why We're Hoping to Adopt

We love children, and having children of our own has been a big desire of ours as a family. We have been through miscarriages and infertility, but through the process we prayed and have felt strongly that God’s plan for our family is to open our hearts and our home to a child through adoption. Our lives are set up so that Jackie will be a stay-at-home mom after we adopt. We’re excited about becoming parents!

What We Value

Both of us love our faith and put it at the center of our life, marriage, and family. Staying involved with our church is important to us. We like to attend many of the parish events and Joe also helps lead prayers on Sundays. As an active couple, we love lots of fun visits and activities with family and friends, or time for just the two of us to go on an adventure to town or on a fun vacation. Family and faith are everything to us!

Fun Facts About Us

Jackie: I have made and decorated three wedding cakes so far, though mostly I am known for making my own birthday cakes (since I was 14!). There’s nothing better than finding a way to make a homemade dessert healthy.

Joe: My favorite animal is the platypus and a stuffed platypus was even featured in our wedding pictures.

Family Traditions We Love

• A game of baseball or kickball with our families when we get together
• Baking Christmas candies and cookies to share with our loved ones
• Making homemade tamales for Christmas Eve, then going to Midnight Mass and waking up to Christmas morning bells
• Get-togethers with lots of catching up, deep talks, silly jokes, and games
