Hi from California! We are Natalie and Joe. We are an active family that loves spending time together. We love going to the beach, curling up with a good book on the sofa, or having movie-popcorn/game nights on the weekends. Our family is rooted in Christian faith. We are a close-knit family who values kindness, laughter, and unconditional support, and we can’t wait to share those values with a child.
About Us
We have been married for 6 years and together for almost 13 years! Our dream has been to grow our family through adoption. We are both creative and enjoy spending time going to art festivals and museums. We also love the outdoors and enjoy going to the beach, having a picnic at the park, listening to live music, or going on a walk/hike. We are a family that thrives on adventure and creating lasting memories together. We enjoy traveling to new places and love cooking together. We have been blessed with a biological daughter, 8, born on October 9, 2016. We believe adoption is the perfect path for us to fulfill our desire to grow our family.
About Joe
Joe owns a pool company. He loves to be surrounded by nature-camping under the stars and hiking. He has a kind and adventurous spirit and a deep love and appreciation for God, nature, and learning. He is a huge history fan and is always trying to get us to watch the History Channel with him. Joe looks forward to teaching our next child how to ride a bike and share the joy of cycling together. Joe loves all sports and is excited to play catch or soccer in the backyard cheering the child on every step of the way. Joe loves to hike and is excited to explore the outdoors and share nature’s beauty side by side with this child. Joe looks forward to embark on family camping adventures and building memories under the stars.
About Natalie
Natalie is a real estate broker who is blessed to work from home. She loves her job! She has been in real estate for 19 years and loves that each day is never the same as the day before. She is creative, funny, kind, and patient. Natalie loves to spend her free time cooking and reading a good book. She loves to spend time at the beach and working out. Natalie is easy-going and enjoys being involved as a room mom for our daughter’s class. Natalie looks forward to sharing her passion for reading with this child which will inspire imagination . Natalie is excited to share her love for the beach, playing in the sand and relaxing in the sun. Natalie is looking forward to spending time with this child in the kitchen working on new and old family recipes together. Natalie has a passion for traveling and is excited to visit new places with this child to broaden horizons and share new experiences.
Our Family
Our family is full of laughter and love. We love to have fun and be silly together. Our weekends are spent going to the beach, attending church, where we find inspiration and connection in our faith. Our 8 year old daughter loves horseback riding, gymnastics and enjoys being a girl scout. We are blessed to have our extended family live close and we visit/see our extended family 1-2 times per month. Spending quality time with our family and close friends is very important to us. We love spending summers at Amelia’s cousin’s house riding bikes, swimming in their pool and relaxing by the firepit with smores in the evenings. Amelia loves to go to Irvine Park with her grandparents on a walk to explore, feed the ducks at the pond and watching the peacocks run around and collect their feathers. We love our family tradition of Sunday night dinners/game night, and find this an amazing way to connect and spend quality time together.
Our Home in California
Our home is a place filled with warmth, love, and laughter. It’s where giggles echo through the halls, family dinners are filled with storytelling, and cozy evenings are spent playing games or watching movies together. We believe in creating a space where everyone feels safe, valued, and free to be themselves. We live in a one story three bedroom home near a historic area in Orange. The area is known for its charming downtown square, historic buildings and amazing antique shops and restaurants. Our home is decorated with family photos, kid-friendly spaces for play and creativity, and plenty of cozy nooks for snuggling up with a good book. It’s a place where traditions are cherished, milestones are celebrated, and every day holds the promise of fun and adventure. We can’t wait to share this happy, love-filled home with a child, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
