Thank you for taking the time to get to know us.  We are a Christian couple with a close-knit and wonderfully supportive family.  While we are unable to have children ourselves, we are excited to grow our family through adoption. We are a fun, hardworking, loving couple who fill our home with warmth and laughter. We have so much compassion, strength, and understanding to offer your child and to you.  We look forward to sharing our faith, our lives, and our family with your child.  We feel so blessed to be on this journey and look forward to learning more about you.

About us:

We first met online and started dating. We realized we had a real connection and were married a year later. We know God has guided us since then in our path to build our family together, and to do so through adoption.

We are a healthy, active, financially stable couple who love to have fun and laugh. We enjoy taking walks, hiking, bike riding, relaxing at the beach, and taking day trips to go sightseeing.  We enjoy cooking together, attending sporting events, bowling, and going to festivals to listen to live music. We like taking vacations and experiencing new areas and cultures. We have two super friendly dogs and enjoy being outside with them on walks or playing outside. We also enjoy quiet nights on the patio with a small fire. Education is important to us and, with Joel’s military benefits, your child will inherit these benefits as well, ensuring they can go to college and pursue their own career path.  We are excited to share our family traditions and make brand new ones as a family.

Meet Rayna

Rayna is a very compassionate and attentive person. She has such a genuine heart for people, especially her family and friends. She is driven, hardworking, never lacking in sincerity, and isn’t one to take herself too seriously. She works in healthcare and is very health conscious as a result. Working out, eating right, and always staying active even in leisure activities is a top priority.  She loves hiking at the sand dunes or just relaxing on the beach.  She loves hosting our family and friends for dinner and game nights.

She’s done much to involve herself in our church since we’ve been married. She has always been a warm person and decided to join the hospitality team in our church in order to be more welcoming to members and get to know others. She never shies away from a challenge and always puts her best foot forward.  She is kind, loving, and will make a great mother.

Meet Joel

Joel is a caring and supportive man. He constantly amazes me with his kindness and generosity towards others. He is smart, witty, funny, and laid back.  He is hardworking, structured, determined and will soon be promoted to Captain in the military!  He has been on a few mission trips with the church and has taught Awana, working with children.  He is very outgoing and just a good Christian man.

He enjoys golfing, bowling, going to local festivals to listen to live music and watching sports.  He enjoys cooking and trying new recipes.  I know, without a doubt, Joel will make an amazing father. He has so much love and knowledge to share. He is excited to introduce your child to all the fun and exciting experiences we have to offer.

Our Family

We are blessed to have an amazingly supportive and encouraging family. We see our parents weekly and talk a few times a week. Joel has a bigger family with four siblings and three stepsiblings. We have twenty-two nieces and nephews. Rayna has a small quiet family so it’s a great balance. We enjoy all the family get-togethers throughout the year, especially celebrating the holidays.

We have amazing friends that we see regularly whether it’s for dinner or game nights. We also have our church family. We have so many people we can trust and rely on and your baby will instantly be welcomed into this world surrounded by love and open arms.

Our Home in Indiana

We have a nice four bedroom bi-level house in a wonderful and desirable area. We are located in a quiet neighborhood with an elementary school and parks 2 blocks away. We also have great neighbors and a big fenced in yard perfect for playing games in. There is a bike path two blocks away to enjoy walks or bike rides. Our community is very active with carnivals, music festivals, and other community involved events we like to attend.

Our Promise

We promise to love your child unconditionally. We will provide a safe and loving home surrounded by family members and friends.  We will provide an amazing life full of fun, laughs, vacations and adventures. We will encourage and support them and provide a stable home environment in which they will thrive. We promise to have nightly bedtime stories.  They will always feel loved, cherished and learn to be respectful with great morals. Your child will always know we became a family through adoption. If you are open to it, we would like to stay in contact with phone calls, letters, pictures and visits.

More About Our Family

Our Special Interests

We enjoy cooking together, going to sporting events, and local festivals to listen to live music. We go bowling, bike riding and hiking at the local sand dunes and always love going to the Dunes National Lakeshore to relax and unwind at the beaches, which are only 10 minutes from our house. We enjoy having date nights with dinner and a movie, or just being outside, whether it is going to the county fairs, ice skating, or going for walks with our 2 dogs. We also enjoy quiet nights on the patio with a small fire and taking vacations`.

Our Faith

We are a Christian couple who go to church every Sunday. We are involved in a few ministries in church including Agape Go! which is a community service and outreach program. We are part of the Hospitality Committee where we greet members and visitors before the church service at the entrance to the church. We are also involved in the Welcoming Committee where each quarter we meet and have a luncheon with the newest members and visitors of the church.

About our home

We live in a 4 bedroom bi-level house with a big fenced in yard. We have a big concrete patio to enjoy sitting with fires on nice nights. We love to decorate the house for the various holidays and we always make sure it is warm and inviting to our guests. Most importantly we love to open our home to family members visiting from out of town.

Family holidays and traditions

Holidays are spent in a very traditional way. Easter is started with a church breakfast and then dinner with family. 4th of July is parades, cookouts, and fireworks. We do a fall family picnic close to Halloween where we cookout, hike trails, and carve pumpkins. We do Thanksgiving with Rayna's parents and do the yearly ornament exchange that she has been doing since she was young. The day after is spent with Joel's big family to celebrate. Leading up to Christmas it is spent with family decorating, visiting, and gift exchanges. We also enjoy going to the local tree-lighting where they have carolers and ice skating. New Years Eve we have friends over for dinner and game night.

In Closing

Thank you for taking the time to read through our profile. Our home is faith centered, caring, loving, and supportive. We promise to provide a safe environment for your child. We know we will be great role models and teach them to be respectful with good morals. We will encourage them to be the best they can be. Your child will grow up with the love and support of our close-knit family and friends. We pray for you every day and hope to hear from you soon!
