Hello from the Ocean State! We are a fun-loving couple who enjoys being active and making the most out of life. Whether it’s biking through scenic trails, hiking up mountains, hitting the gym, or paddle boarding along the coast, we are always up for an adventure. We are big beach goers who live for sunny days by the ocean!

Our lives are built on a foundation of love, with God at the center. Spending quality time with family and friends is important to us, and we have always dreamed of having a family of our own. We are excited to welcome a child into our lives, and we hope to get to know you and all you desire for your child. We can’t wait to embark on this journey of parenthood and create lasting memories filled with joy and love.

The Story of Us

We were set up by the best kind of matchmakers – close family friends! Our first date was a blind date, and it was so much fun. We were both pretty excited after that first meeting, and Josh even called his mom and told her that he believed he may have just met his wife! We knew early on that we had found the person we wanted to share our lives with, and the rest is history. We have now been married for 7 years.

We love spending time together and can make anything fun; we believe in enjoying every moment! We value our marriage, and we work hard to continually strengthen it through open communication and encouragement. We are each other’s biggest fans! Throughout our time together, we have found strength in relying on one another and our faith in God, especially when we faced the challenge of infertility for several years. We have always wanted to have a family and planned for adoption to be part of our story. We know we are ready and believe that the time is right for us to adopt. So here we are!

We are so excited to become first time parents! We can’t wait to experience all that life has to offer with our child and watch them grow into the person they are meant to be.

About Josh (by Andrea)

Josh has the biggest heart, and it is one of the things I love most about him. He is loyal and compassionate, always there when you need him! Josh is a great communicator and really takes the time to listen and understand all that is important to me. He is a strong leader and visionary, which inspires me to dream big about all the future holds. Josh’s career passion has always been helping others. Before working in private practice, he worked in group homes and a foster care program. He is dedicated to making a difference and has a gift for connecting with people of all ages.

Josh brings so much fun to all our family gatherings with his lighthearted way of engaging others, making everyone feel at ease and ensuring there’s never a dull moment. He loves me and everyone in our life so deeply. Josh is excited to help our children make the most out of every day, and I know he will be an amazing father!

Josh loves…

About Andrea (by Josh)

Andrea is a strong Christian woman, and she has an unwavering faith in God. She has a bubbly personality and is truly beautiful inside and out! Andrea works for a toy company, and her work schedule is flexible. I really admire her dedication and work ethic, and I am constantly amazed by how she balances everything so well. She does so much to make our lives run smoothly, and I am grateful to have her by my side!

Andrea has a big heart and truly cares about others. She always remembers everyone’s birthday, and she is an amazing gift giver. She has a special touch with children and is the first to hold a new baby in our family.  Andrea is a beloved auntie to our nieces and nephews, and she cannot wait to love our child with all her heart. I know she’ll be an incredible mom!

Family Over Everything

Both of our families live in Rhode Island, and we are all very close. We love spending time with our parents, and they love spending time together as well. They have become very good friends over the years! We are both middle children; Josh has two sisters, and Andrea has two brothers. We are the proud aunt and uncle of fifteen nieces and nephews, and we love being a support to each of them. It is one of the greatest joys of our life!

We have shared with our families that we are on the journey towards adoption, and everyone is thrilled for us! We have an extremely supportive family, who could not be more excited to welcome and love a new child. We are looking forward to summer pool parties with cousins, long beach days with our parents, enjoying family picnics with yard games, as well as weekend getaways. When it comes to our families, we are always there for each other. Whether it’s to celebrate together or show up when someone needs help, we support one another in every way we can!

Big Love from our Home in Lil' Rhody

We live in the beautiful state of Rhode Island, where we both grew up. It’s an awesome place to call home with so much to offer. We have parks, beaches, and bike paths nearby, perfect for our love of the outdoors. Our small coastal town has a historic downtown area that really comes alive during the summer months. There are lots of shops and places to eat, as well as our favorite coffee shop! Our neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly, perfect for evening walks where everyone says hello. Our home has three bedrooms, including a room already picked out as a nursery, and we have a big yard where we host get togethers for friends and family. We enjoy having people over for barbecues, time around the fire pit, and game nights. We love living in a small state. We have everything we need nearby, and we are just a short drive away from Boston, New York City, and the mountains of New Hampshire. Being from Rhode Island, we believe that great things can truly come in small packages!

Our Promise

We promise that your child will grow up in a Christian home, where they will be loved unconditionally. We promise that we will always make sure they know they are valued, they belong, and they are safe with us. We are going to be there for them every step of the way! We promise to spend time nurturing them, while also teaching them how to be independent. We promise to encourage them to explore their talents, gifts, and interests, and we will provide them with opportunities to do so. We promise to be parents who always show up and celebrate moments big and small. We will champion them in whatever they do. Your child will always have a voice with us, and we will listen openly to what they have to say. We are committed to being honest with your child when they have questions about their adoption story, and we promise to always speak of you with honor and respect. If you desire an open adoption, we promise to foster connection with you throughout your child’s life in whatever way feels most comfortable to you.
