Hello from Ohio! We are Josiah and Cassidy! We are so grateful to be on this journey again! Our life is exciting, full of adventure, and fun. We look forward to getting to know you and are open to meeting or speaking to you to learn what you want for your child.
About Us
We have been together for twelve years and married for eight. We met in high school and are high school sweethearts. Adoption has always been a part of our child raising plan. Josiah has three siblings who were adopted, and Cassidy has one nephew who was adopted. We were blessed in 2018 by adoption when we adopted our first son, Brady. We then had our second son, Daxx, biologically, and decided less than a year later that we were being called to adopt again. Our third son, Nash, was born in 2021.
We enjoy working out together, playing games, hanging out with family, and going to movies together. We are looking forward to spending a lot of time together as a family once the baby arrives. Our boys are so excited to add another member to the family!
About Josiah
Cassidy says: Josiah is a loving, involved dad! He is selfless, giving, funny, and protective. Some of his favorite things to do are play basketball, coach Brady’s football team, and play games with the boys. He is always willing to wrestle and play in the dirt with our kids.
Josiah is a state trooper. He loves his job and is very good at what he does. He is on the list to become a sergeant soon! He is a good leader and is looked up to by a lot of his coworkers.
Josiah is excited to welcome another baby into our family and teach him/her all of our favorite family games!
About Cassidy
Josiah says: Cassidy is loyal, caring, and strong! She works hard, loves fiercely, and is always willing to help those in need. Cassidy has worked as a hairdresser at a salon in our hometown for 10 years. She loves her job and loves making people feel beautiful.
For fun, Cassidy likes to hang out with friends, read, and play outside with our kids. Watching our kids grow and seeing their personalities come out are two of her favorite things about being a mom. Spending time with her kids is her greatest blessing!
Cassidy is excited to share with the baby her unconditional love and the special family unit that we have.
Our Family
We have three sons. Brady is six, Daxx is five, and Nash is three. These three are rambunctious, full of personality, and loving. They are so excited to welcome another baby into their crew! They are best friends, and love doing everything together. Our boys are very into sports, cars, and animals. They love to play outside and make-believe games and use their imaginations.
We both have very large extended families who are very supportive and excited to welcome another baby into the family. Josiah is one of nine children, and Cassidy is one of three so there are plenty of aunts and uncles and grandmas and grandpas to love on our next baby. Every Saturday night we have dinner at Cassidy’s parents’ house with all of her siblings and nieces and nephews. We get together to do game nights and spend time with Josiah’s family often. Everyone is local and within 20 minutes of each other which is so special.
Our home in Ohio
We live in a small town in Ohio, but are located in between two bigger cities. Our house has 5 bedrooms. We moved into this home about 3 1/2 years ago because it is right next to Cassidy’s parents’ house, and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be so close. We live on about 2 acres and have a big backyard to play in. Cassidy’s parents have a pool that we love to use as much as possible in the summer. We are located within 10 minutes of all of our favorite parks and fun things to do. Our favorite things about this house are that it is so close to Cassidy’s parents’ house and not far from the boys’ school and from our church. We love having a partially finished basement for the boys to have movie nights and set up forts!
Our Promise
Our promise to you is to love your baby unconditionally and teach them the love of Jesus. We promise to be the best parents we can possibly be to your child. We will do everything in our power to give this baby every opportunity to succeed. We are very involved in our private Christian school and our church and are excited to share that with this baby. We are looking forward to connecting with you and having as open of a relationship as you desire.

More About Our Family
Our Special Interests
Some of Josiah's special interests are going to sports games, playing basketball with friends, working out, and having game nights with family. Josiah is a big fan of Ohio State football and the New England Patriots.
Some of Cassidy’s special interests are shopping, reading, going for walks, and getting pedicures. One of Cassidy’s goals this year was to read 50 books in a year, and she accomplished that!
Our Faith
We both grew up in Christian homes and attended a Baptist church all our lives. We were both saved at a young age and made the determination to live for Jesus. We still attend a Baptist church close to us and serve in many different ministries there. We believe that Jesus is the son of God, and that the only way to heaven is through Him by faith.
Our Musical Interest
We Both love music! We love all different types of genres and love attending concerts. Some of our favorite concerts we have gone to have been Rascal Flatts, Skillet, and TobyMac.
About Our Dogs
We have two dogs. Our older dog's name is Ella, and she is a Shiba Inu. She is about eight years old and is the queen of the house! She is very good with the kids and loves taking naps. Our second dog's name is Coco. She’s a mini-Labradoodle and is a bundle of energy. She loves to play with the boys and go for runs. Coco is two years old.
