We are Kyle & Courtney! We live in a quaint little town in Pennsylvania. We are childhood sweethearts who have been married for 10 years. Courtney is a stay-at-home mom to our four-year-old son. We also have a goldendoodle and a sassy cat. Our house is usually filled with giggles and is never boring. We are looking forward to expanding our family through adoption. We are grateful that you have chosen life for your baby and pray daily for you. We look forward to meeting you!
About Us
We are high school sweethearts who have truly grown up together. After being in classes together since middle school, we began dating our senior year of high school. Our relationship is built on friendship, faith, and walking through every season of life side-by-side. We genuinely enjoy doing life together, whether it’s everyday routines, quiet evenings at home, traveling or spending time outdoors.
Adoption has always been close to our hearts, as we both grew up in families who have adopted. After walking through infertility and being blessed with our son, we continue to feel the Lord leading us toward growing our family through adoption. We trust in His plans and feel honored to follow this path.
We love making memories through adventure. Summers are often spent boating in the evenings–swimming, tubing, and enjoying time with friends and family. We cherish beach trips filled with games and exploring, and time at the cabin hiking, fishing and riding four-wheelers. When our family is expanded, we look forward to sharing these adventures as a family of four. We look forward to watching our son grow up with a sibling. Creating lasting memories is something we deeply look forward to.
About Courtney
Kyle says: Courtney is fun-loving, creative, and incredibly thoughtful. One of the things I have always admired about her is the way she thinks and dreams up meaningful experiences, especially in her role as a stay-at-home mom. She is intentional about creating educational and engaging activities for our son. Watching her pour her heart into motherhood has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. Before becoming a full-time mom, she worked as a nurse, where her compassion and servant’s heart were on display daily. Caring for others comes naturally to her–it’s simply who she is.
Courtney’s hobbies include reading, exploring new places, puttering around her flower gardens and creating in the kitchen (baking bread and sweets, preserving fruits and vegetables, and cooking delicious meals). She especially loves the sun and the beach, playing games on the shore, and soaking up family time by the water.
She is most looking forward to walking alongside another child as they grow–experiencing firsts, discovering new interests, and sharing in the simple joys of childhood. Her nurturing spirit shines in the way she teaches, encourages, and plays. She truly comes alive in motherhood, and cannot wait to love, guide and grow alongside another child.
Fun Fact: Courtney can wiggle her ears.
About Kyle
Courtney says: Kyle works as a sales manager for a local equipment company. He is the best dad! I am always in awe of the renewed energy he brings home each and every day. Kyle is always finding the joy and laughter in life. You can always count on him to crack a joke, even if he knows it will be met with a groan or eye roll. He is the leader of the family and puts God first in everything he does. He is our all around “fix it” man. Without fail he is able to bring to life any wild brained house project I have.
Kyle’s hobbies include tinkering on machines (four-wheelers, motors, etc.), riding four-wheelers, fishing, boating, golfing, smoking meat and spending time outdoors.
Kyle is looking forward to teaching our children how to diagnosis and fix things and create things. He looks forward to sharing in the daily joys in life and watching our future child discover new things.
Fun Fact: Kyle once won first place in a smoked meat competition for his smoked brisket.
Our Family
We are blessed to be entrusted with raising our four-year-old son, Elias. He brings such joy and laughter to our family. He is thoughtful, respectful, and takes great delight in making people laugh. He is Kyle’s sidekick in anything he is doing and Courtney’s snuggle bug. We thank the Lord daily for the blessing that he is.
As a family we enjoy riding bikes, boating, and just spending time together. Our evenings are usually filled with silly made up games, putting together Lego sets or playing outside.
We are also blessed to have extended family that live nearby. Courtney is the youngest of four, all of which live within 15 minutes of each other. You can often find us all at Courtney’s mom’s house on a Sunday evening. We also have the tradition of vacationing together every year at the beach. Kyle’s family all live within an hour of each other. Kyle has a younger brother and sister. We enjoy vacationing at the cabin or the beach together. Between both extended families we have six nieces and one nephew.
We both have siblings who were adopted, which is what first introduced us to adopting.
Our Home in Pennsylvania
We live in a small town in Eastern Pennsylvania. We live on a dead-end street and know and talk to all of our neighbors.
Our house is a three-bedroom split-level house. We love that our main area is a great room which allows us to always be near each other. Our favorite space is our close to one acre yard. It is where we spend most of our time no matter what the weather. We have a playground and a trampoline in our fenced in backyard. We live within walking distance to a park, in which we frequent.
Our Promise to You
We want to begin by saying how deeply we respect you. If you choose us, we promise to honor both you and your child every single day.
We promise that your child will be loved intentionally, sacrificially and faithfully, the way Christ loves the Church, with patience, grace, protection, guidance, and unconditional commitment. Our love will be based on the unshakable truth that they are chosen, valued, and deeply cherished.
Your child will grow up in a home rooted in faith where they will be taught who they are in Christ and encouraged to discover the gifts and purpose placed inside them. We will guide them with kindness and consistency, support their education and interests, and give them opportunities to explore the world.
We promise to honor their story. Adoption will always be spoken of as a beautiful part of how God brought our family together. We will always speak of you with gratitude and respect.
After we adopt, we look forward to the everyday moments–bedtime prayers, first steps, school events, family traditions, and watching our children grow in faith and character. We look forward to continuing to build a home filled with laughter, adventure, stability, and Christ-centered love.
If you choose us, we are open to building a relationship that feels healthy and comfortable for you. We would gladly share updates, photos and communication, and we are open to meeting if that is something you desire. We believe openness, when built on trust and respect, can be a gift to everyone involved.
Most of all, we want you to know that we will love your child fiercely, raise them faithfully, and always share their adoption story with love.
We’d love to talk or answer any of your questions. Please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.
With hope and gratitude,
Kyle and Courtney

Our Faith
Our faith is very important to us. We belong to a church in which we attend every Sunday. Our church has a large population of families who have adopted or fostered children. They have been instrumental in our journey to adopt. The church is also made-up of people from all different races and ethnicities. We are a part of a small group of five families that meets twice a month to have a small Bible study. Our kids are all around the same age and they really have fun playing together. We can always count on these families showing up for us and vice-versa.
Plan's For Our Children's Education
We are looking forward to starting our son off in a hybrid homeschool program. We plan on doing the same with our next child. We are devoted to reevaluating yearly to make sure our education settings are still a good fit. We plan on also opening a fund for our future child for advanced education, should they choose to continue their education post high school.
Our Pets
We like to joke that we always pick the pets with the most personality. We have a goldendoodle named Maggie. She and our son are two peas in a pod and Maggie is often following Elias around. We also acquired a cat named Callie last year. She is nicknamed Princess Callie Cat in our house, and she surely lives up to her name. Whenever our son starts his daily quiet time, Callie marches straight back to his room with him.
In Closing
We are ever so grateful for your consideration. We look forward to getting to know you and learn more about your desires for your child. We also look forward to building a lifelong relationship with you through an open adoption. Thank you!
