Hello! We are a fun-loving, close-knit family that values laughter, kindness, and quality time together. Our home is filled with love, homemade meals, and weekend adventures—walks in the park, cheering each other on at sports games, or cozy movie nights. Family is everything to us, and we truly enjoy being there for one another.

We believe in supporting dreams, creating a nurturing environment, and always showing up with open hearts. Adoption has always been something we’ve talked about and it’s clear this is the right path for us. We’re excited to grow our family and adopt our first child! We can’t wait to welcome a child with all the love and joy we have to give. It would be great to learn more about you and your hopes for your child’s future!

A Little About Us

Our Story: We first met as kids playing T-ball in early childhood. Life took us in different directions for a while, but we reconnected later and started dating. We have been married for 8 years, building a strong, loving life together. As future parents, we’d love to pass down our love for the outdoors, working with our hands, and strong family connections. Adoption feels like the beautiful next step in our story.

We enjoy:

  • Home and DIY projects
  • Cooking dinner together
  • Cozy movie nights on the couch
  • Evening walks around our neighborhood
  • Playing card games
  • Local farmers’ markets
  • Hiking scenic trails
  • Day trips to nearby small towns
  • Traveling to peaceful spots with lots of nature where we can relax, explore, & unplug
  • Having family & friends over to grill out in the backyard & celebrate birthdays or holidays with lots of laughter, food & connection

Our Home in Virginia

We live in rural southwest Virginia, surrounded by beautiful mountains, open fields, and winding country roads, in a cozy and welcoming home. One of the bedrooms has been recently remodeled and will be used as the nursery. Our home is on a peaceful 10-acre lot with plenty of space to explore and a big yard that’s perfect for playing, running around, or just enjoying the outdoors together.

One of the things we love most about living here is the balance. It’s quiet and relaxed, yet we are still close to everything we need. We enjoy spending time outdoors, visiting local parks and exploring nearby historic towns, and farmers’ markets. There is a strong sense of community here and it is a wonderful place to raise a child. This area is safe, welcoming, and full of opportunities to enjoy simple, meaningful moments together.

Family Life

Our extended family is a close-knit, loving group that feels like our built-in support system. We both come from big families, and almost everyone lives within a few minutes of us. We have 8 nieces and nephews and several cousins who are like nieces and nephews to us. We all get together often for birthdays, holidays, dinners, and casual visits during the week. Family gatherings are always filled with laughter, shared stories, and plenty of homemade food.

We are blessed to have a tight circle of friends who are like family. Many of them have kids of their own, so when we get together, it’s always full of energy, playfulness, and genuine care. Our community of loved ones is a huge part of the life we hope to share with a child.

Thoughts from Our Hearts...

We promise to provide a home filled with unconditional love, support, and security. Your child will always know how deeply they are loved, cherished, and accepted for exactly who they are. We will celebrate their unique identity, honor their story, and speak openly and lovingly about their adoption story.

We promise to nurture their dreams, guide them with patience and kindness, and always be a safe place they can turn to. We will surround them with encouragement, opportunities, and a strong sense of belonging. Most of all, we promise to love them fiercely and forever—with our whole hearts, every single day.

We believe open adoption can be a beautiful way to build trust and connection for everyone involved. We would welcome an open and respectful relationship with you that feels natural and positive for all of us. We are open to sharing updates and photos, as well as occasional visits. It would be great to talk with you about what that could look like! We’d love to learn more about you and answer any of your questions: call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

Kyle has been known to play his guitar and sing to our dogs for fun.

What We Value

We value faith, family, and living with integrity. Kindness, honesty, and compassion guide how we treat others and how we make decisions. We care deeply about creating a loving, supportive home where everyone feels safe, heard, and accepted. We believe in the importance of lifelong learning, open communication, and showing up for the people we love. We prioritize quality time together, making memories, and helping others whenever we can. Most of all, we believe in the power of love to build strong, lasting connections.

We attend church regularly and it's an important part of our lives. Our church is a warm, welcoming community where people genuinely care for one another, like extended family, full of support, encouragement, and love. We’re involved in different ways, from volunteering at events to helping with children’s programs, the church music, and small groups. Our faith helps guide our values and decisions, and being part of a church community gives us a strong foundation as we grow our family.

Our Pets

We have 3 awesome dogs! Cooper is our sweet German Shepherd with a big personality, who follows Kelli everywhere. Queen is our gentle giant who is incredibly affectionate and calm. Maddie is our Dachshund and she may be small, but she definitely thinks she rules our little pack . All of our dogs are great with people and kids and such a precious part of our life.

Favorite Family Traditions

• Sunday dinners are a regular thing with our families living so close by.
• Celebrating holidays together with big family meals, playing games (we love Bingo!), and sharing memories that keep the traditions alive.
• Backyard barbeques and picnics are a favorite, where everyone comes together to relax, laugh and enjoy the time spent with family.
