Hi there! We are Max and Sarah! We are a faith-filled and fun-loving couple who have been married almost 5 years. We absolutely cherish our time together, as we’re usually exploring small towns near our home, getting together with other young couples from our church, or snuggled up having a movie night.

Adoption has always been on our heart, even from the time we were dating. Now, having had fertility hardships, we are even more thankful for the road of adoption, and thankful for you. We cannot wait to grow our family, and to raise and love a child to no end!

We welcome a relationship with you, and we’re eager to hear your story and your dreams for your child.

About Us

We met at a young adult Bible study. We knew early we would be married and enjoy the fullest life together!

We love to go on adventures and travel, as well as finding fun and interesting places all over Maryland. Most importantly, we love to spend time with both sides of our family, as a close and loving family is a priority for us.

Another priority for us is our faith in Jesus, and we desire to live in the loving ways that Jesus walked. We are so thankful to be in a church with so many adoptive families that exemplify incredibly loving homes. They will be amazing resources for us, and will be there to help our child feel loved and cherished in every way. We both serve in our church. Sarah loves to serve in the nursery and Maxwell serves in the middle and high school ministry, helping young guys learn how to navigate the world that we live in.

Meet Sarah

I have worked as a speech therapist for 4 years, and have the greatest joy of helping teach children how to speak and communicate. I’m so thankful to have also worked as a nanny for two years, having the privilege to love on two babies under two. This was a sweet time in my life and has made me so excited for adoption.

I am passionate about making our home as warm, cozy, and welcoming as possible to all who come in. I love to always be cooking and having meals ready for those who come in hungry or needing some comfort food. I’m so thankful to have the ability to stay home with our child when the time comes, so that our future family always feels safe, full, and loved.

Fun Fact: I was a track athlete from middle school to college, and I’m grateful for the way it has taught me to work hard and to keep a determined attitude. I love to take on a goal and do what it takes to carry it to completion!

I can’t wait to cuddle and play with our child and go on fun adventures, and I promise to provide them a joyful and safe home where they can chase their hopes and aspirations.

Meet Maxwell

I’ve had the opportunity to work in Electrical Sales for over 6 years now, and I’m so thankful for the way the Lord has provided for us. I love sales because I genuinely enjoy people and helping them any way that I can, including figuring out complex problems on my customer’s behalf.

I’m passionate about spending time with Sarah and going on fun spontaneous dates. I truly miss her when I’m not with her. I’m thankful that she and I belong to a loving church where the community feels like real family. I’m blessed to be surrounded with a great group of guys, whether we are doing workouts, praying, or playing pickleball.

Fun Fact: One of my biggest passions in life is the opportunity I have to help mentor midshipmen at the Naval Academy through an organization called FCA. It is an immense privilege to help mentor and equip future leaders and protectors of our nation!

What I am most excited for in life, is the blessing of becoming a father, and sharing the most profound gift of parenting with Sarah!

Come in! - Our Home in Maryland

Our home is a very warm and cozy, revamped townhouse that we have put a lot of work into, making it welcoming and peaceful to all who come in. We recently finished our basement to make it the perfect rec and playroom for our future child, with the comfiest carpet so that he/she has all the room to run around, be silly, and play. It’s cozy and perfect for snuggles and naps.

We have three bedrooms–one room is already being turned into a nursery, wonderfully decorated by Sarah. Our home is in a court that is full of young families and young children, who are always outside on nice days playing together and enjoying each other’s company.

We praise God for where He has put us–we are 20 minutes away from a beautiful and family friendly small town on the water, with lots of parks and activities to do as a family. Whether its fishing, hiking, getting some ice cream, or going to the beach, there are endless memories that we can’t wait to make and enjoy together with our future child!

Our Family

We are blessed with incredible family! Both sides of our family have planted deep within us the necessity and gift of having family around you, and the importance of pouring back into that family. Our closest relationships in life are our parents, who continue to protect, love, and provide guidance through the trials of life.

Both sides of our family get together often and love to have fun, whether its traveling to places we have never been before, talking late into the night about anything, or making sure we keep and grow our awesome family traditions. We know that the fruits of loving and being loved by a big family will be such a joy for our future child, and will give them endless laughs and memories.

We are thankful for how supportive our family has been for our adoption plans, and how eager they are, just like us, to bring a child into this big loving family. From grandparents to aunts, uncles, and our siblings, there is a promise from all to love and protect our child endlessly!

We will be faithful to our relationship with you, desire to know you and pray for you, and will always speak well of you to your child.
