Watch Our Video

Hi! From the start of our relationship, our connection felt natural and as if we balanced each other. We have built our marriage on faith, love, and a deep commitment to supporting one another through anything. LeeAnn’s joyful and bold spirit complements Mike’s steady and thoughtful nature. We love funny movies, discussing insights from books, listening to music, and growing in our faith. Adoption is a path we’ve felt called to walk together and see it as an extension of the love we already share. Having lost two babies at birth, we know in our hearts that we want to be parents and it’s exciting to be in this process to adopt. Our future child will be cherished beyond measure! We’d be honored to get to know more about you and the future you want for your little one.

Our Story

Mike’s sister introduced us when she and LeeAnn worked together. She says she always knew we’d be a good match! We dated long-distance for a year and a half before we got married over 11 years ago. We have always wanted to raise children and going through two still births only strengthened our desire to become parents. We’re confident that we can offer a child a life filled with unconditional love, opportunities, and a strong sense of belonging and encouragement to be their best self. We truly believe we’re meant to adopt!

Things we enjoy doing together:
• Watch TV shows (we love comedies, suspenseful dramas, or shows about inventions and starting new businesses)
• Listen to music (loudly!) and dancing while we sing along
• Beach vacations
• Cooking meals
• Relax outside on our rooftop deck or covered porch by the fireplace (with music!)
• Walks around our neighborhood

This is LeeAnn

Mike says: I fell in love with LeeAnn because she was fresh, exciting, beautiful inside and out, and has a smile that lights up a city. I knew she was the one! LeeAnn is incredibly loving. She has great people skills and has never met a stranger. She will be a wonderful mother, always there to brighten our child’s day or help him or her through anything. LeeAnn values family and quality time. Even with her job and growing her coaching business on the side, she always makes those she cares about feel like a priority.

LeeAnn’s interests:
• Daily walks outside and exploring new trails or parks
• Step aerobics or dance fitness
• Trying new things, like restaurants, art shows, farmers markets, or comedy shows
• Writing (she’s a published author!)
• Public speaking (she’s an inspiring motivational speaker)
• Coaching professional women to help them speak and build confidence

This is Mike

LeeAnn says: I fell in love with Mike because he was, and is, consistent, reliable, accountable, and committed to personal growth. He loves with his whole heart and puts me first. Mike is very smart and talented, yet humble. He prioritizes his faith and family. Mike also thinks things through and is a dreamer who is often willing to take educated risks to try new things or invest in our future. I know Mike will be an amazing father who is lovingly protective, creating safe boundaries to teach responsibility, integrity, and independence. It’s been my dream to raise a family with this steady, sweet man!

Mike’s interests:
• Listening to or writing music
• Playing the keyboard
• Reading
• Listening to audiobooks or podcasts
• Being involved at church
• Relaxing at home on the weekends

Our Home in Maryland

We live in a 4-story town home with lots of space. Most of our life happens on the second floor, which has our kitchen, dining room, and great room, along with a covered porch. It is all open so you can visit with everyone and talk with each other while we cook. We have 4 bedrooms, one of which has already become the nursery for our future child. We spend a lot of time on our covered porch and on the rooftop deck where LeeAnn has a garden and Mike does the grilling. Our plans are to turn the large room on the bottom floor into a playroom. We also have a good-sized yard and live near a few nice parks for kids and families to play. There is also a neighborhood pool within walking distance. This is a great place to raise a family, and we can picture lots of family walks to explore outside or take a swim in our future.

Our Families

We come from big, close-knit and loving families who stay connected and visit each other regularly. Our families share a bond of our faith, commitment to each other, and honesty. There are many people on both sides who were adopted or who have adopted children themselves, so we’ve had a lot of support for our own adoption plans from the start.

From Our Hearts...

We appreciate this chance to be considered as an adoptive family for your child. We promise to provide a loving, safe, nurturing home where your child will feel valued, supported, and cherished every day. We promise to prioritize their emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. We will guide them with patience and understanding, teaching kindness, respect, resilience, and faith. Your child’s individuality will be celebrated, and we’ll encourage them to discover their unique talents and passions. As parents, we will be present, attentive, and committed to walking through anything with them. We can’t wait to see them grow into the person they are meant to be! This child will know they are loved for who they are.

It’s important that our child feels a strong sense of belonging and connection in our family and community. We will honor their heritage and help them grow up with an appreciation for their identity and culture. We will also be honest about their story and how much you mean to us. We’ll be here to answer their questions with care and sensitivity. If you want ongoing contact, we are open to sharing updates and occasional visits. You will always be spoken of with love, respect, and gratitude.

We already have so much love for the child we’ll be chosen to adopt. We are honored and humbled at the possibility of walking this path with you. To contact us, please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

With love, Mike & LeeAnn

More About Our Family

Family Traditions

• Almost every year we travel to Mexico where we had our honeymoon.

• We love Thanksgiving with Mike’s extended family in Ohio (his mom is one of 9 siblings, so there are a LOT of cousins, aunts, and uncles!), including a full night of a food and board games…and our yearly Taboo tournament with the girls against the boys.

• At Christmas we enjoy spending the day with LeeAnn’s side, starting with a Christmas brunch that LeeAnn prepares with her father before everyone opens gifts. Later that day tons of cousins, aunts, and uncles gather for an evening of more gifts and games together.

Our Values

We value our faith, family, and well-being in mind, body, and spirit. We attend church regularly, often with Mike’s mother, and LeeAnn volunteers in the children’s ministry once per month. We put each other first in our marriage and invest in our dreams. Open communication and being intentional to grow closer in our relationship are also important to us. We keep open hearts and fill our home with trust and mutual respect.

A Typical Weekend for Us

Our weekends are all about connection, movement, and rest. You’ll often find Michael dancing around the house to music or listening to an audiobook between his haircut and stretch appointments. LeeAnn might head to a morning workout class or enjoy some quiet time outside to reset. We love spending time with family and friends, whether that means a casual visit, a walk in nature, or just good conversation over home-cooked food. Evenings are usually slow and cozy—cooking together, catching up on shows, or simply relaxing. Faith, laughter, music, and quality time are at the heart of it all. We can’t wait to fold a little one into these rhythms—snuggles, bedtime stories, and Saturday morning giggles included.

Fun Facts About Us

• Mike can come up with a song or jingle on the spot for almost anything.
• LeeAnn once wrote and published a children’s book inspired by love, loss, and faith. She looks forward to story time and snuggles with our future child.
• Mike has a knack for remembering random events from the past that his family may have forgotten, so he's kind of the unofficial memory keeper!
• LeeAnn studied theater in high school and even auditioned for a movie once!
