We are a close, loving family of three who love spending time together. We enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking, and exploring museums together.
In 2021, we were blessed with the birth of our son, Wesley. Caitlin had a rare complication, and we quickly opened up our hearts to adoption. Caitlin’s oldest niece was adopted from foster care, and we know that love is the most important ingredient in a family. We will love you and your little one with our whole hearts.
We are committed to honoring you and the important role you will always have in your child’s life. We will follow your comfort level with openness and promise to always speak of you with kindness, gratitude, and respect.
Thank you for considering us as potential parents. We are devoted to creating a nurturing, safe, and loving home where your child will be cherished every day.
Our Story
About Caitlin (by Morgan)
Caitlin is dedicated to self-improvement. She is always looking for efficient ways to do things and ways to improve our health so we can lead long, happy lives together. Growing up Caitlin loved music, reading, and history, and she still loves these hobbies today.
While teaching middle and high school, Caitlin’s empathy and deep love for others was evident daily. She devoted herself to her students’ education and emotional well-being, many of whom carry a lasting impression of her well into adulthood. She has the biggest heart of anyone that I have known. She’s currently a stay-at-home mom to our son and they love to bake, make crafts, and go to the park together. She’s creative and loves to work on a good project. She also loves learning a new skill. Caitlin enjoys cooking and she makes the best salmon and Italian food! She loves hanging out with other moms and their kids in their workout group.
Caitlin loves playing cars, reading, and playing the guitar with Wesley. She especially loves snuggling on the couch with him. I know she is also excited to make music with our next little one.
About Morgan (by Caitlin)
Morgan is loving and funny! His sense of humor always puts a smile on my face. He loves to read; however, he rarely finishes books. He is our resident grill and BBQ master and makes the best cornbread! Morgan is an avid runner but doesn’t hesitate to circle back so I’m not left in the dust (I run slow). He is the kindest and most empathetic husband and father that anyone could ask for. We love spending time together, and he is my best friend.
Morgan loves fitness, hiking, kayaking, and enjoying the outdoors. His career as an Army Officer helps afford us a comfortable home and life. Because of his job, we can travel several times a year and Caitlin can be a stay-at-home mom!
Morgan loves building forts with Wesley, making him laugh, and playing Legos. He is the most attentive father; we are lucky to have him! He can’t wait to watch our next little one giggle while he pushes them on a swing.
Our Son and Family
Our Son, Wesley, is an active and happy little boy. He usually has a smile on his face and is always on the go. He loves reading with us, chasing our dogs, and playing. Wesley will make an excellent big brother to our next child. He is excited about having a baby brother or sister and knows that having a sibling is a special gift.
Our dogs, Blue and Basil, are loving towards Wesley and love to go for walks and play in our backyard. Blue is an Aussiedoodle, and Basil is a Corgi. They are the best dogs! They love getting pets from everyone in our neighborhood when we go on walks.
Our Extended Family: Despite the miles separating us from our extended loved ones, family is essential to us. Caitlin grew up in a large family. She has three older sisters, four nieces, and two nephews. Her family loves to get together several times a year. Morgan grew up an only child with a wonderfully close relationship with his family, especially with many of his cousins. Our parents visit us every six weeks for a long weekend. Wesley has such a special bond not only with his grandparents but also with his aunts, uncles, and cousins. Our next little one will be loved beyond measure by our extended families. Everyone can’t wait for another baby to be added to the mix!
Our Home in Kentucky
We are nestled in a cozy neighborhood on a military base. It is safe, quiet, and full of kids to play with. During weeknights and weekends, the streets are full of kids playing outside. When we moved here, we quickly made several new friends. The online community page is always full of people helping each other or giving away items. The schools are safe and excellent. There are several parks, a waterpark, places to kayak, and a set of trails, all within walking distance or a short car ride away.
We love going on walks in the evenings, bike rides, jogging, and just playing outside in our neighborhood. It is the perfect place to raise young children!
The best evenings or mornings include everyone snuggling (dogs included!) on the couch with our feet up. As a military family, we’ve learned that a house’s occupants make it a home. Our home is special to us because it is where we spend our time with the people we love the most. We can’t wait to complete our home with another little one!
Our Promise
We want to share our heartfelt promises to you and your precious child. Every day we pledge to love, protect, and cherish him/her with all our hearts. Bedtime stories and cuddles are promises and moments we eagerly look forward to with your little one. We also look forward to cooking, diving into creative crafts, snuggling, and enjoying every moment with your little one! Your child will be adored and surrounded by love and laughter.
We promise to honor you with love and respect. We are committed to keeping in touch at the level of openness that is comfortable for you. You will always be spoken of with love, and your child will grow up knowing their adoption story.
We’re committed to doing everything in our power to prepare your child for the complexities of adulthood.

More About Our Family
Our Special Interests
Morgan loves to learn new languages, and he is multi-lingual. He speaks Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic, and he's learning Chinese and French in his spare time. He can't wait to teach his children another language.
Caitlin loves to fix up old furniture, and one time she fixed up a hundred-year-old farmhouse table that is proudly displayed in our kitchen. She looks forward to doing crafts and DIY projects with her children.
Our Faith
Caitlin was born and raised in the Catholic Church. Morgan was born and raised Baptist, but he converted to Catholicism. We truly believe in loving and embracing everyone regardless of differences.
Musical Interests/Love of Comedy
Both Caitlin and Morgan are huge fans of the Beatles! Their first dance at their wedding was to "When I'm Sixty-Four." However, that is where their shared musical interests end. Morgan loves all genres of music, but all of his running playlists are EDM. (Caitlin calls it "bleep-bleep, bloop-bloop music) If Morgan had his choice, he would listen to stand-up comedy or audiobooks while driving. Morgan can't wait to pass his love of comedy to your child.
Caitlin is a huge fan of rock music, but she likes some other genres (pop, country, and rap). She played the trumpet from elementary school through her freshman year of college, and she was in the concert, jazz, and marching bands throughout her school career. She took piano and organ lessons as a child, but her true musical love was playing the guitar. She used to play in a punk rock band with her friends in high school. Now that Wesley is making music, she has the best rhythm guitarist. She can't wait to share her love of music with your little one like she is with Wes.
Our Parenting Philosophy
We both believe that children need a safe and loving environment to grow up in. We believe in setting appropriate boundaries, having clear and consistent expectations, and having appropriate consequences.
We believe in supporting and nourishing children by letting them explore their interests and spending quality time with them. For example, Wesley loves dinosaurs, and he was adamant that he was only thankful for them on Thanksgiving. We encourage his obsession by taking him to see their fossils and we have spent countless hours reading and watching documentaries about them.
We want our kids to treat everyone around them with love and respect. We want them to work hard to achieve their dreams and hope they always try their best. We promise to always put your child's needs before ours. Your little one will be loved and supported unconditionally.

We look forward to reading bedtime stories, cooking and baking together, creating crafts, and spending time outdoors as a family. We are excited to watch your little one grow and learn, and we can’t wait to explore the world alongside them.
