Watch Our Video

Hello! We are Nick and Regina. It’s an honor to be considered as an adoptive family for your child. We have known for a long time that we’d like to be parents. We have seen examples of adoption in our own families and have always talked about adopting one day. Going through fertility issues, we know that adoption is the path meant for us to grow our family. We’re excited and ready to give a child the best possible life! We have a strong, happy marriage and like to explore new places, be around our dogs, share hobbies together, and find opportunities for growth or learning that we can share with other people. It would be a dream come true to connect with you and welcome your child into our family! We hope to get to know you and the hopes you have for your little one’s future.

Our Life Together

We met at college when we lived down the hallway from each other. Our friendship quickly turned into a relationship, and now we’ve been married about 10 years! We love thinking of what life will be like raising a child together. We both work from home, so we plan to take turns working so that we both take care of our child during the day. If we have times when we both need to work, we are planning on bringing in a nanny so that our child can be at home near us and get as much family time as possible.

Things we enjoy doing:
• Watch our favorite TV shows or sports
• Go on walks or take road trips with our dogs
• Plan our next home project
• Attending and serving at church (Nick helps with Sunday service and Regina educates people who want to join the church)
• Go to various sporting events (we love using our season tickets to the Utah Gymnastics team and we have a personal goal to attend a baseball game at every Major League ballpark)
• See live concerts
• Visiting national and state parks across the country
• Hiking new trails
• Hosting family when they visit us

This is Regina

Nick says: Regina is kind, nurturing, and cares a lot about others. She is intelligent, hard-working, and driving to accomplish her goals. Regina’s strengths are her emotional understanding, compassion for others, and her quick wit and intuition. I know she’ll make an amazing mom!

Regina’s interests:
• Reading
• Puzzles
• Board games
• Baking and cooking
• Self-care

This is Nick

Regina says: Nick is analytical, thoughtful, silly, and generous. He is always supportive of my goals and dreams. Though sometimes he can overthink things, Nick is a determined man who genuinely cares about doing the right thing and making the right decisions. He will be such a devoted father!

Nick’s interests:
• Sports
• Spreadsheets
• Music (he plays bass guitar and some piano)
• Reading
• Running, swimming, and biking
• Gardening

Our Home in Utah

Our home is on a quarter-acre with a lot of space to run around with our dogs and do some gardening. Inside there’s plenty of space to play and relax too. We have four bedrooms and an open layout. We look forward to converting one of the rooms into the nursery after we adopt. It’s a newer home and we’ve had fun making small improvements and upgrades, such as working on our backyard patio so that we can see the stars and roast marshmallows.

We live in a quiet community with many nature trails and parks to explore. We love the scenery with the mountains everywhere and how we have all four seasons here. The people are family and community oriented and look out for each other. It’s a great place to raise a family, very safe, and grounded in good values.

Our Families

We have family scattered across the U.S., almost coast to coast! Regina comes from a large family, while Nick is from a smaller family. Regina is one of 8 siblings and Nick has one sibling. We all enjoy traveling to visit each other and find ways to support one another and stay in touch when we’re apart. As a family, we like to get together and have new experiences, such as a renting a house in Tennessee for all of us, and touring the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and going sightseeing. We have 6 nieces and nephews who we adore too! And especially because adoption is already a part of our extended family, everyone has been excited about our plans to adopt a child. There will be so much love to welcome the son or daughter who joins our family!

Our Promise

We look forward to sharing our life and faith with our future child. Thank you for your time to learn about us and what we’d love to provide your child as his or her adoptive parents. We know every child is unique and we’re prepared to learn along with our child to find the best way to meet their needs, help them grow and reach their potential, and to see things through their eyes. We want our child to feel secure and safe, knowing they can talk to us about anything, any time. We will be there for him or her to celebrate wins and face challenges together.

We promise to love this child as our own and to honor our connection with you. We are comfortable with open adoption, if you’d like to keep in touch with phone calls, letters and photos, or occasional visits. We believe it’s helpful for our child to know who you are and how our family came together. This child will always know how much you mean to us! We’d love to talk with you about the best approach and how you picture open adoption as your child grows up.

We’d love to talk or answer any of your questions. To contact us, please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

More About Our Family

Adoption in Our Family

We’ve seen adoption through our loved ones in various ways. Nick’s dad and grandma are both birth parents who placed children for adoption years ago. Nick’s mom grew up with siblings who were adopted, so he has aunts and uncles who have been raised through adoption. And Regina’s brother is currently hoping to adopt like we are. All of their experiences have given us a unique perspective and strengthened our desire to grow our own family through adoption.

What We Value

• Family
• Faith
• Financial stability
• Learning and new experiences
• Living life to the fullest

Our Dogs

We have two dogs who are both smart and well-behaved. Our Bernese Mountain Dog is Blossom and she’s goofy, sweet, and social. Cannoli is our Blue Heeler who is snuggly, talkative, and a good listener. They are both special additions to our family and will be sweet pets for our little one to grow up with.

Fun Facts

Nick wants to learn more about playing the piano. He’s also known among his friends for liking Dr. Pepper.

Regina likes to sing and dance, but also knows she is not talented at either. She is also known for her delicious baked goods (her friends and co-workers love getting them!).

In Closing

Thank you for learning about us and the life we would love to share with your child as his or her adoptive parents. It would be so special to us to get a chance to know more about you and your child. Adoption is already such a big part of our whole family's story and we're excited to be on this path to growing our own little family this way. If you'd like an open adoption, we will be honored to share updates throughout your child's life. We've prayed and hoped for a child for many years and will continue to pray for you as you decide what you want to do. It would be great to hear from you!
